  1. I’m skeptical on this one. Think of Tre White one year after an ACL. Did he appear ready ? Hall is younger , but he’s also an RB. I expect we’ll see a lot more of Cook than Hall.
  2. Prorated charges for each missing channel as a portion of your total lineup. Never amounts to all that much, and certainly not for value as no one watches all of their channels equally.
  3. Josh rolls right, hits Diggs for 14.
  4. Yet amazingly , Josh Allen hasn’t been the reason the Bills have yet to reach a Super Bowl in the McDermott era. Even more a testament to his ability.
  5. I’d say no resolution until week 3 or 4. Just a guess, of course.
  6. Timing and circumstance, combined with one colossal blunder. It’s really that simple. Pat Mahomes is in the AFC ( in no small part thanks to McDermott). That’s not all though. Andy Reid coaches Mahomes’ team and is the best play designer/OC in football, bar none. They have an uncoverable TE to boot. The Bills had a very injured team by last seasons end. They had a huge coaching blunder in the waning moments of a playoff game vs KC that they had in the bag. These things have conspired to keep the Bills out of the big game, where I think they would have beaten two of the last 3 NFC representatives.
  7. I’d guess someone goes to IR. Maybe out of actual necessity if someone is lost in week 1 or two for awhile. If everyone’s relatively healthy then maybe someone they think they can sneak onto PS is released.
  8. It’s a combination of things, topped off with the classic anti Bills bias in the media. They’re tired of it and want to move on to newer stories. There are some causes for concern amongst fans though. A few in random order : Cincinnati playoff game 13 seconds No legit WR2 in free agency/ trade Offensive line issues Defensive failures in playoffs difficult schedule tough competition in AFC/ AFCE Chiefs Bengals Aaron Rodgers
  9. I have to agree here. The Bills exit from the playoffs last year was a lifeless thud- in a year that started with huge expectations. An AFC Championship game loss would have stung, but would have to be considered contending for a Super Bowl. Even a divisional loss to CIN could be considered acceptable if it was a closely contested game with a dramatic finish. Context matters here, and the Bills entire organization simply didn’t compete in a home playoff game. It can only be considered an embarrassment.
  10. This should surprise no one and was always the realistic scenario to anyone paying attention. A lot of whining on the board lately.
  11. Nope. Players don’t play for the length of time it would take ( except QBs as they are protected ) to come close while also maintaining top performance. Financially they don’t need to at todays NFL salaries. Players have a lot more self preservation in mind and get out early to limit physical issues down the road. Anything is possible, but I don’t think it will happen for these reasons and probably some others that have been mentioned as well.
  12. Dorsey has a lot to prove, no doubt. He tailed off after a fairly hot start to last season. I’m not going to try to draw too many conclusions from a preseason game , though. We’ll see if he’s up to the task.
  13. Yes. If Josh is the “ problem” in regular season losses, then it’s time to re-evaluate the Bills entire program and probably the McDermott regime as well. I don’t think we are there .. yet . The offensive line is a huge limiting factor in where this team’s season is going to end up. If Allen is a limiting factor - again I believe he is a top 3 QB in the NFL- then what are we doing here ? This team has issues , but Josh Allen isn’t one of them.
  14. Bills walking into a hornets nest here on Sept. 11th. Jets D scores TD late to seal it 28-17. Media love fest with NYJ kicks into overdrive after being forced to acknowledge the Bills for a few seasons.
  15. Makes sense… the QB isn’t that good so go get an elite RB. Bills fans went through this for years
  16. Who wouldn’t want to be an NFL owner ? The Bills have done pretty well under the current owners, so I hope they own the team for a long time.
  17. Great to be passionate about the game and of course our favorite team. We are fans though, and we don’t really have the power to demand anything. Accountability starts with the players, then the Head Coach , the GM and ultimately the one who can truly demand accountability- the OWNER . We are fans of a game , but that game is a business. One unlike any other. We can swear off watching or attending games and it just won’t matter. They could play this game in an empty stadium - heck , they actually did ! - and would still make money hand over fist. The game will go on regardless as it’s the surest money maker in sports, in TV , in who knows what else.
  18. This^^. Yet we have numbskulls saying you think “ blank” would vote for DeSantis given what he’s doing in Florida ? Lol .. He’s only running the best State in the nation , and yes they will.
  19. Never said that. Bills games are different than the others. Even if the Bills aren’t playing , which is obviously most NFL games , I usually have a team that I’d like to see win. Sometimes it’s more a hatred for one franchise than caring about the other team. Other times it may be simply players that I like vs dislike. That’s part of being a fan for sure. It still comes down to a love for the game and everything that goes into it. The poll does say as a “Bills fan of the NFL.” I was an NFL fan before I lived in the Buffalo area.
  20. Just love the game and have since I first started watching in the 70’s. While the quality of the game has declined some imo, I still love it. So entertainment for me.
  21. Yep.. no one has distinguished themselves as a KR to this point. Have to look elsewhere. I think the Bills have been ranked highly in average starting FP on offense. McD wants to maintain this
  22. Dorsey needs to improve his use of tendency breakers and come up with better concepts in the redzone. Josh had to run around and create something from nothing far too often. This resulted in a turnover problem where there hadn’t been one. No excuses for sure , but we won’t have any idea from preseason football. Maybe somewhere around week 5 or so.
  23. Ruben… can’t seem to get past that one.
