  1. There’s usually plenty of room to change lanes ahead of time. Each time is different of course but cars literally stopping to merge in from a standstill is insane. Many often don’t follow the reduced speed limits in these zones either , adding to the chaos. All stems from a sense of entitlement , trying to “ beat the crowd “ when simple following of instructions in a timely manner would produce a better result. The signs etc are usually ignored.
  2. I strongly disagree. Yes “ zippering “ is efficient if done correctly - namely approaching a highway from an on ramp at a lower speed ( these usu have posted speed limits of 35 mph or so which are routinely ignored) and fitting in to a space behind the oncoming vehicle - that’s why extra space is provided to perform this maneuver) not barreling up the ramp at 60 + mph then cutting off the oncoming vehicle . As for a lane reduction , the same applies - one is supposed to heed the sign warning of the oncoming lane reduction a mile or two up the road and get over into the other lane. WNY drivers ride the closing lane out until the last possible second then try to get over causing traffic jams . Plenty of space to switch lanes is provided - albeit at a slightly reduced rate of acceleration. Much of our society is simply too self absorbed in their entitlement bubble to afford this simple instruction intended to make the driving experience easier for everyone. Following instructions has become an option for “ everyone else” to adhere to , unfortunately.
  3. No way this stayed under wraps for weeks . Seems like bs
  4. Was this allegedly recent ? Can’t imagine this getting past a group of reporters today. It would be public knowledge in less than a minute.
  5. Seems like just another rabble rouser in an overly litigious , hyper sensitive environment at the moment.
  6. I don’t see Cook as a feature back and never have. Just doesn’t seem to have “ it” factor.
  7. Hmmm, I doubt it. The QB is either pressured or he’s not. Taking off doesn’t mean he’s pressured, so I doubt it’s counted if the QB just decides to run. That could be coverage etc , not pressure.
  8. And that’s fine .. IF he’s racking up TDs and throwing way fewer INTs. He’s not , and that’s a problem
  9. It’s a huge problem. Just seems to have lost his ability to play winning football.
  10. Didn’t see an improvement in passing concepts , and the run on 2nd and 15 in OT was mind numbingly bad. Overall I’d give him a D.
  11. If Allen doesn’t snap out of his turnover filled funk, the Bills may not win 7 games all year.
  12. Doesn’t end up as a great investment by the Jets. Somewhat predictable , but oh well. Their playoff hopes are probably done, but somehow the Bills can’t beat Zach Wilson.
  13. Probably the worst since his rookie year if not the worst yet. He’s in reverse since last season sometime.Losingvtwice to Zach Wilson in about a year is unthinkable.
  14. No excuses , he lost the game and said as much. Very concerning going forward though, as it seems like he’s forgotten how to play football.
  15. Sit back and enjoy. It’s a new season with Josh Allen, Diggs and Co. Even a 3-0 preseason wouldn’t mean a thing today .
  16. Always a nervousness for opening game, but a game played last January has zero effect on tonight. Start following baseball ?
  17. Right ? I thought the Chargers lifted the “ blueprint” for defeating Tua the last time they played. They threw it out the window today and paid the price. LAC are a poorly coached team in general and the HC shouldn’t feel to comfortable right now.
  18. Until they start beating the Bills repeatedly , I’d say it does.
  19. This is a pretty balanced take on what’s transpired to date.
  20. A. They badly mismanaged the final seconds of a playoff game that was possibly their only roadblock on the way to the Super Bowl. B. The Chiefs are in the AFC and have the best offensive coach in the NFL. That makes it very tough to get the coveted bye week. It will limit their chances. As for weaknesses, I’d agree that the lines are not great. The coaching was too conservative in a big moment. I think the presence of Allen is enough to overcome the line issues in a flawed NFL . Will the coaching come through when they get another opportunity? We’ll see.
  21. I’d guess that play was mostly a result of Frazier, but we’ll probably find out.
  22. Not sure, but I don’t care if they are or not. They haven’t won too many vs Bills recently.
  23. No I don’t think they’re all that similar. Not a fan of McCarthy overall , but Dak is pretty average most of the time imo. Their lines are top notch but they don’t get it done for other reasons.
