Chiefs fans gladly take ugly wins, even ones courtesy of questionable calls/ non- calls at the end. Take it and move on. One can insist that other teams will magically improve and overcome their shortcomings, and the Bills will not … whatever does it for ya, but it’s just trolling at this point.

The biggest blunder of the game IMO
Boatdrinks replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, short of tackling the receiver mid end zone, I can’t see a flag coming out on a second consecutive potential game ender. You got an untimed down from the one, those flags aren’t coming out for anything less than a takedown. Just sort of an unwritten rule, and it is what it is. -
Giants came to play, that’s for sure. The Bills looked like they were still somewhere over the North Atlantic.

NY Giants @ Buffalo Bills - SNF 2nd half game thread
Boatdrinks replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
It does, and it looks like the Offense last year was have Josh run around and make a crazy play or have him pull it down and take off. I get wanting to move away from Allen being so off script and running all the time, but it appears that was our offense. Reining Josh in sort of exposes the Dorsey offense for what it is. -

Yeah , he quickly qualified that statement moments later iirc. Don’t remember what he said exactly , but the guy is a tool. -

Been that way all week post -London -
Maybe, but you usually need a big assist from the opponent for that to happen. CIN got it today for sure, but it’s hard to rely on the opponents mistakes when you’re not clicking on O. It takes a lot more luck than the Bills usually get in those situations.
-
They probably would … however teams are holding on due to giveaways and horrible QB play by their opponents .
-
Need some help from the other team if you’re gonna win with less than 20 though…. I’d rather score 30 consistently.

The fact is, McDermott isn’t going anywhere until Pegula says so. That probably means missing the playoffs or several one and done’s at a minimum. Hoping for that to happen must be a weird neighborhood to live in as a Bills fan.

How good is the Bills new starting defense?
Boatdrinks replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
C’mon man. The Bills lost to KC in the AFCCG ; he’s just not accepting it! -
Snippet from The Athletic Joe Buscaglia on Josh Allen

He’s talking about what Josh Allen is capable of doing on the field , not the outcome of a single game between two different editions of teams that have played in the past. -

They may need him to. Each season is unique. This year has already been beset by the injury bug on defense. If Josh needs to resort to more Super Josh type plays then so be it. The goal is to win it all, whatever that requires. And KC is not the KC of 2021. Past years are just not indicative of this seasons outcome. -
Yes they do, courtesy of the Refs vs Jets and MInn. The bailout calls are very consistent.

Bills signing Josh Norman - yes, seriously
Boatdrinks replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly . Steelers not looking like they’ll be sellers at the deadline this year. -
Oh , it certainly will. Going forward they will definitely need to rely more on the offense. That’s probably the best approach as the defense has lost too many key parts to stay among the leagues best.
-
Well, he’s not wrong. They didn’t establish it. They got beat on the LOS, which is why many of the plays were unsuccessful. There were other errors as well, ( drops etc ) but the line was not as impressive as they were vs MIA.
-
Maybe, but those types of deals are rare at the deadline. If the Bills are able to make a trade for a CB or WR it will likely involve draft picks. Swapping contracts is difficult in season.

You got the 1 out of 1000 criminals that knew how to drive a stick shift (badly anyway)

Plenty of very good to great College players flame out in the pros. It happens. Sucks when it’s our team , but Elam may be one who just never “ gets it”. They can’t give him too many chances if the results are similar to last Sunday’s. The season will be off the rails in a hurry.

Who will be the first coach fired?
Boatdrinks replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not saying McDaniels shouldn’t be fired, but Davis isn’t the wealthiest owner. He may not want to pay McDaniels not to coach. -
Bills signing Josh Norman - yes, seriously
Boatdrinks replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
No.. day to day per McDermott this afternoons presser. -
Maybe if it brought a quality CB or WR2… player for player trades are rare at the deadline though. Usually all about the draft picks. Could be a deal of AJ for a pick , then trade that pick plus others for a WR2 or CB. See what the big picture is closer to the deadline.

So do the Bills … but again he knows the defense. They don’t have a month to get someone up to speed . Just a fail safe in case of yet another injury. Shows how they feel about Elam as well. -
As we all hate on Ken Dorsey today let’s remember
Boatdrinks replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Miami backup I mentioned was referring to Thompson. The defense did a good job Vs MIA in that game. Offense gave them ridiculously short fields with turnovers and MIA mostly kicked FGs.
