  1. They don’t have one. It’s really that simple. Not sure what Beane is thinking here .
  2. Given this regimes track record, its a good guess.
  3. If they were only drafting a WR in this draft then maybe. You’re not and have to look at the big picture of the team and entire draft. If they’re similarly graded with no red flags then you get value and move down. Personally I thought picking at 28 was less likely than moving up / down. Just figured there wouldn’t be a player they loved left on the board by then.
  4. If it’s WR then they had a group of WR with same/ similar grades ( not first round ) and knew they’d be happy with any of them. Gained picks in the process = win.
  5. Hmmm… you said “ risky , but “ . Why do I get the feeling if Worthy was the Bills pick and failed , you would be calling him “ Roscoe Parrish 2.0 , another Harty “ etc etc ?
  6. You always hear that teams are charged a premium for QB trade ups. Is that a myth or do teams inquire about who is being selected ? Or do they just not make the deal if there’s a chance it’s a player they want ? Probably the latter I guess , but it seems implied that teams know who is being selected.
  7. Their defense has gotten it done when needed . The Bills hasn’t.
  8. Maybe. The Bills had a lame duck GM so we know why they didn’t want to take a QB there. Well worn territory that’s been discussed to death. The Bills have Josh Allen, they don’t need a QB.
  9. Maybe they don’t . Still may have needed to make a move. That means Fact : The Bills did not want Worthy Fact : If KC makes a move , some other team gets a draft pick. It’s pretty clear the Bills didn’t want the WRs taken off the board from 28 on. If they did they just stay at 28 and turn in the card.
  10. This^^ The Bills didn’t want Worthy, that much should be obvious. Worrying about the Chiefs taking a player you didn’t value is a loser mentality.
  11. Just my opinion. KC didn’t trade Hill to Buffalo, but to our division rival. If Higgins is traded, I don’t think it would be to Buffalo - or KC.
  12. Even if the Bengals trade these players, they’re not trading them to Buffalo.
  13. I agree. The truly elite WR’s are retained. Many are good/ very good but the cost inflation at the WR position makes it more attractive to draft another one. Those cost controlled years are valuable.
  14. This seals it. Clearly the Bills should move up to draft a C.
  15. Probably another 5-600 million $ or more.
  16. Most likely it’s liquid cash to cover stadium overruns.
  17. They’re in business to make money. Lots of it.
  18. Fwiw the rule against this type of ownership was established a long time ago, when there probably weren’t any billionaire NFL owners etc . It didn’t happen in say , 1985.
  19. This ^^^ T Pegs has said all along that he doesn’t want to spend his fortune on a stadium. It may make some sense in NYC or Dallas but not in Buffalo.
  20. Right? But you know the response “there’s no evidence of any plan”…So predictable. Hilarious to see anyone taking about this “ case “ in any kind of serious terms. It’s so flimsy that 2 previous DA’s declined to pursue it. Not to mention the statute of limitations expiring. When you run on a platform of “I will find something to prosecute Trump for “ though.. what a joke. NYS is simply an embarrassment to the justice system. How about the ridiculous gag order , tainted jury pool etc ? The entire thing reeks.
  21. True. Could be selling about as projected. Cost overruns may be outpacing what the market can realistically cover.
  22. He’s bored. The proceedings are a completely political sham prosecution with a pet judge and jury. Their predetermined guilty verdict will be overturned on appeal. Alan Dershowitz said it is the weakest case he’s seen in his 60 years of experience. NYS is a complete embarrassment as usual.
  23. It’s an NFL team. He wants to keep it for obvious reasons. It makes so much money he won’t mind having a minority owner with a 25% share.
