  1. The sunken design and the orientation of the current stadium cause a lot of the wind woes. The new version won’t be perfect , but should improve a lot with the more vertical design and different orientation.
  2. Well the Bills do have two 2nd rounders next year …. Interesting , esp if Cooper could be lost to FA
  3. Playoff Pat has far better Coaching and Defense than Josh has to work with. The importance of these is magnified in the playoffs.
  4. Looked like the Bills didn’t have a clue how to play in snow. Mind boggling.
  5. They can if they want. Pretty sure they have to request these things to the league some time before the season starts.
  6. I don’t see the Steelers being sellers at the moment.
  7. College players aren’t taking 49% ( or whatever ) of the revenue. Simple as that. Wasn’t Ralph talking about moving them to Seattle prior to the expansion that brought in the Seahawks and Bucs ?
  8. Would probably have to be a contractual stipulation if anything. Doesn’t appear they have any say in this.
  9. Will probably be the most hostile environment on the Bills schedule this season , barring playoff games. Very tough venue to get a win.
  10. Historically ,East to West is not a huge negative to performance . Not a worry.
  11. Yep. Has nothing to do with football.
  12. Look, the pundits said this season would be a big step back for the Bills and they would not win the AFC East. They talked up teams such as the Dolphins and Jets. Thus far it’s not happening, so the Bills will be ignored . If they lose to the Chiefs or 49ers , the naysayers will be back in a New York second.
  13. Not surprising , as we’ve been getting gashed by those types of plays since @BAL game.
  14. DK injury doesn’t seem serious according to early reports. We’ll see, but I’d bet he plays.
  15. Maybe a few print/ electronic media articles dared to bring it up, but not the talking head shows on the big networks or in game. At least not what I saw. I don’t read print electronic media anymore unless it’s about the Bills.
  16. No, it would be more like “ Chiefs continue to win, but is this sustainable with all the INTs ? “ . There is a discussion to be had there, and it would be had if it were Allen and the Bills. Your “ headline” is overly simplistic. We’re not talking about headlines here anyway, it’s discussion by NFL media both in-game and pregame shows etc. They clearly have their untouchables that are shielded from criticism. Not really debatable at this point.
  17. This. No one is allowed and no one does. They will say negatives about Allen though. It’s not about football.
  18. They talked of Josh’s INTs after plenty of wins last year. It was their focal point.
  19. Show hasn’t been watchable in years. Jmo
  20. Just an honest discussion of what lies ahead. The Bills defense has been getting gashed for big plays in the ground game and vs the pass. Far more than in previous seasons.
  21. I would agree they’ve matched up well in previous seasons. I don’t think that’s the case now , as the Bills defense is currently a liability. The Chiefs defense is stout and stingy. The Bills won’t be favored vs KC, and they shouldn’t be- barring a major KC injury.
  22. Seemed like he didn’t know what the play was on his TD though. I’ll give him a pass there
  23. The NFL is entertainment , and the uneven commentary is not very entertaining to Bills fans. As NFL fans , we watch the regular season. Of course we hope the Bills can eliminate the Chiefs or just win a Super Bowl regardless of how they’re eliminated. The thread , however is about the commentary / narrative and not just about the post season.
  24. The discussion was about stats and network commentary/ agendas on them with certain players. If you don’t care about that , fine but your take doesn’t disprove the argument. Praise is all well and good, but when he throws INTs they act like it never happened. This is contrary to their take on Allen. That’s the issue the op brought up. There appears to be more of a gap between the teams this year than in previous seasons. Largely due to the Bills defense being worse across the board.
  25. That wasn’t the subject. It was talking heads not pointing out the high number of INTs - this year. That is factual , and it’s being glossed over. Not surprising but true nonetheless. And Allen was making a ton of big plays and scoring TDs … yet all they talked about was INTs. It’s okay to say it - these network knobs are a bunch of hypocrites pushing agendas.
