  1. Yep. Sometimes they get the “yips”. Hopefully Bass gets out of his funk.
  2. Sure 7 seed and all that , but I meant that the 2 seed used to get a first round bye as well. That’s likely the biggest impediment to the Bills reaching an AFCCG and a Super Bowl
  3. One seed is always valuable. It’s too bad the NFL took away the value of the 2 seed. Bills will have a difficult time securing the 1 seed while the Chiefs exist in their current form.
  4. Well no, but maybe he is. Coleman went up and Poyer was closing in. Probably just not as fast as he once was so if he thought that was going to be a clean but tough hit he was wrong.
  5. I don’t think he led with the crown, but it’s neither here nor there. Was legit foul and it was called like it should have been. Refs were awful most of the game though .
  6. Correct sir… he may not realize it with his timing and all but he’s a step slow. That could be the difference between a clean play and not. This time it was . Obvious to anyone who saw the review
  7. He was a step slow… he gets there a bit quicker and Coleman is still more airborne. May have only hit the chest. A step slow and it’s right into the helmet.
  8. Didn’t want OT, that’s the bottom line. The way the D was playing you could smell a loss coming a mile away. The kick gave you a chance to get out of there with a W; we haven’t had much luck with coin toss lately.
  9. Never doubted him…. Not for a minute!
  10. I wasn’t so sure. The defense hadn’t stopped them basically all day. Of course they could have scored quickly and that was the fear. If Mia played for the OT , a coin toss might have decided our fate. At least the FG attempt gives you a chance and uses some valuable time if it’s no good.
  11. And that’s an “if “for sure
  12. Don’t think it was scheme there… just guys not winning point of attack
  13. OL and DL didn’t go to Yankees game
  14. They’re a 2nd half defense. They’ll get it straightened out
  15. Don’t think it will happen, but that scenario may be the Bills best chance at reaching the Super Bowl in the next 5 years or so.
  16. Thanks, Tom. We know.
  17. No, it’s no different. However, a op said to be mad at Wolford, and I disagreed.
  18. Also, I’m pretty sure the Colts put that clause in the contract to make it difficult for the Bills to match. FA was brand new and you really can’t blame Wolford for getting the best deal he could. Sources over the years have said that Wolford’s agent tried to get a deal done with the Bills, and Polian never returned his calls due to his fallout with Ralph Wilson. A whole lot to consider there, but it wasn’t Wolford’s fault. LT’s were underpaid relative to their value to the team. That’s what the onset of FA exposed . Edit: this type of clause was outlawed by the NFL shortly afterward, but the Wolford deal was allowed to stand.
  19. The team does not? Look, I think they will be fine for this game with or without Cooper. Going forward and certainly in a playoff scenario, he’s an important part of their overall chances this season. As to a “ savior of the franchise” that’s just hyperbole that only a small group of fans would agree with.
  20. Probably just a precaution. Bills offense will be fine regardless.
  21. Could they have? Would NE trade with the division leader ? We don’t know that they would.
  22. Apparently the Bills weren’t interested? No reason to take KC’s 66th rounder. Didn’t want to trade in the division maybe ? Seems like a cheap way to add a player at a need position.
  23. I agree, it was just a different era then. Sure, the South Florida parties and Miami game trip were legendary. It was however more difficult to obtain tickets. The interwebs and proliferation of secondary market ticket sites changed all that !
  24. Did we get a Tricorder reading on that ?
