If you’re not playing ST’s as a WR 5 or whatever you won’t make this roster. Simple as that. Good for Hodgins, but he’s hardly some tonic for the offense. I think the staff wanted to see more from him that never materialized.

Bottom line is I think the drops and questionable strategy have been bigger factors than Josh’s UCL. Not much they can do about it but manage it anyway. He says it’s not an issue on game days.
