100% he got rid of some very poor football folks that were associated with my favorite football team. For that I am 110% grateful!

There always more to the story than meets the eye...

Allen, Foster, McKenzie, entire secondary.

I hope this happens, Rex at a major college program like Miami would be hilarious!

Surprisingly I think his braggadocio nonchalant style would work down there.

I love Kyle, but this might finally be the end of being in the basement of the AFCE for a very long time. Maybe we stay away from Williams for a while.

Nice thread now this is something worthy of discussion! I agree.
1. He keeps in-house stuff in house.
2. He has learned after the Peterman ordeal that don’t put a player out there if he isn’t ready.
3. He’s installed a team first mentality.
4. He’s been able to pull off a pretty good defensive system once Milano gets back and we can get the linebackers to settle in their gaps (run game).
5. He’s shown he’s not averse to taking a risk that the benefits outweigh the ramifications.
6. He recognizes good defensive talent.
7. He allows the offensive coordinator to call plays.
8. He seems as if he would do anything to take care of his players.
9. He lets the referees have it when they deserve it.
10. He truly believes the team he coaches has a shot every week and isn’t afraid of any team.

This thread is terrible. It’s gonna end up causing hiv. Williams is and was the heart and soul of this team for a very long time. He taught a number of rookies how to be professionals.

Just a random thought, hope I am not violating the tos and I am sorry if I am but I am awfully curious about this topic. Obviously marijuana is banned by the NFL, but I've wondered for quite some time if football players smoke because it relieves symptoms of CTE. Do any of you think this is possible? It would be pretty tragic if the NFL banned a substance that could benefit their players mental health, especially with something as serious as CTE. I know weed helps treat a myriad of illnesses from bipolar disorder all the way down to arthritis and inflammation. Could marijuana benefit players and should the NFL take it off its banned substances list? It would be a shame if the NFL was taking away something that could be beneficial to its players. Do you guys think weed could actually help the NFL? Thoughts?
As long as josh Gordon’s if the world are content to throw away millions of dollars because of it; showing he’s addicted to it, likely not

The D line lost contain, as has been clearly shown. How is that not exposing some issues there?
A de lost contain. The lbers as mcdermott sted failed in doing their job. Go back and listen to mcdermott. Then rewatch the game and watch the lb not have gap control.

Still showed an upgrade on the DL would be welcome. It’s not an elite unit and KW is getting old. Some elite talent in this draft on the DL so if the slot is right you take it.
Granted, which is why these early mock drafts are even more ridiculous. The FA WR crop looks underwhelming at this point, so the writer was likely projecting a bit.
A rookie defensive linemen will do nothing for this team until our linebacking core is capable of holding their own. Looking from the perspective of the last game if we had any wrs to catch the ball at all we are still in the game. A rookie defensive linemen even if it was Aaron Donald wouldnt have stopped the patriots from the running the ball down our throats because he isnt filling the three gaps the linebackers are supposed to. So while i agree we need a replacement for kyle in the last game a wr that can catch would have had a bigger impact.

A better question is what went right......

“Experts “ often put drafting for need first. It makes them look like they know what they’re doing by simply penciling in a team’s greatest deficiency in the first round. Who would argue ? That’s fine for casual NFL fans , but more educated fans know that putting need above all else in round one is a sign of a bad GM. The DL is a draft strength and while the Bills D is their stronger side, Sunday’s debacle vs NEs ground game exposed their D line. It will depend on the exact draft spot, but the Bills should pick a defensive player with their first selection in April.
It exposed one de and our linebacking core. Not our defensive line.

3000 yards wont salvage this season. This season was always about development.

I cant believe what I just read. That’s arguably one of the most asinine pieces I have ever read from any fan let alone on that contributes to a Bills dedicated site...

I get your point about Jones but Foster is not really like Edleman at all.
Not saying he is like Edleman. But at his ceiling he is capable of putting up numbers like edleman.
-
Largley depends on your definition of number. If its Julio jones then your going to be disappointed. If its Edlemanesque then he has a chance.
-
Yea until we find a suitable replacement

Other than a few stupid penalties, was it my imagination or did the line look fierce today? Gave Josh a lot of time back there??
and this Ford kid looked good n shifty!
At some times others teller was letting a 6’2 235 lb run him completely over.

Most of his throws could have been caught today. He had a couple throwaways but the majority of his passes were good.
The almost INT was his worst pass of the day
That pass wasnt even what i would characterize as bad; more of a fantastic play by a defender.

I wanted Josh Rosen bad on the Bills going into the draft. Once Allen was picked, I of course deferred to the process, and I'm glad I did.
The process is much better than the dufus which was the whaley era montra.
