Week 15: Around the League
suorangefan4 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Raiders got away with a massive hold on that first down run by Carr. They can take it to under 1:10 left now if they don't get another first down. Bills get called for ticky tack holds constantly while other teams get away with hogtieing guys. -
Week 15: Around the League

And other teams losing gives us a path to the playoffs too just in case we lose out. A Titans loss here is huge for us. And a Browns and Raiders loss would be huge too. Spare me the "if they lose out they don't deserve to be in" nonsense. I don't care how they get in. -
Knox hands are good. His drop had nothing to do with hands being bad... he just took his eyes off the ball to look where to run with it before securing it. He's on pace for about 400 yards as a rookie. He has 344 yards so far on just 45 targets. That's pretty darn good.

How about MVP Lamar Jackson today?

Probably one of the most mediocre 3 TD performances ever. He didn't put together any real long drives. - One of the TDs was after a fumble deep in Bills territory followed by two penalties. And a little flip pass where Poyer left the TE wide open to go after Lamar - Another TD was to a wide open Hurst that had about 50 YAC yards because Poyer left him uncovered. - Last one came on a short field too after a 29-yard punt by Bojorquez (he had a lot of really bad punts today even despite getting nice bounces / rolls) and a 15-yard personal foul penalty on that drive. That's not trying to downplay how great Lamar Jackson has been this year but today he looked pretty pedestrian. He is really tough to get to and tackle though that's for sure. -
We can beat anyone this year too. The Ravens didn't outplay us at all. That game could've gone either way.

OL and a pass rusher are the two biggest things that puts us over the top. How people keep talking about drafting or signing WRs and RBs is beyond me. Winning in the trenches on offense and getting to the QB on defense would put us over the top (we still could beat anyone now even but that would be huge).

The Bills need to work on clock management. They took way too much time in between plays which ran the clock so low that if we didn't score we had no chance to get the ball back. We had 2 timeouts and caught the ball at the Ravens 32-yard line with 3:24 left. We then huddled and didn't snap the ball until there was 2:49 left (8 seconds on the playclock). The whole drive we kept taking so much time off after every play. If we had any urgency then we still could've had at least 2 minutes and two timeouts for a chance to get the ball back one more time if we weren't so slow in between plays.

That no call on the PI pretty much cost us the game. This league coninues to cheat Buffalo even when they're at home. Like I posted a couple weeks ago.. this whole decade the Bills have been near the bottom on the league in penalty differential every year but 1. They constantly let blatant penalties go against our opponents.
