It's good to know that they return the majority of their offense next year. If they can stay healthy they should be able to have a big year. Had they stayed healthy (like not losing their top 2 QBs for several weeks) this year they probably would've won 9 games.

I don't know why it's so hard for people to understand that the Sabres were going to the bottom regardless if they made the trades or not They had just picked 8th in the draft the year before the tank and their trajectory was going down towards the bottom. That was bound to happen at some point because the Sabres had only 1 pick in the top 5 (2003 - Vanek) since 1987. The trades were necessary. They were all upcoming UFAs who were getting older and on a downward trajectory. The correct thing to do is to start from scratch and get what you can for those players. It's flat out ignorance to think what the Sabres did was wrong. The Sabres won't be down for long. People look at the record and think wow they really suck but there are some good pieces there and they have some nice pieces in place and the prospect pool is getting stocked well.

One has to think Peterman would've had a much better outing this week though. The offensive line was night and day this week from last week. TT had a clean pocket and all day to throw the majority of the game today. Last week Peterman was getting teed off on left and right.

The holding calls / non-calls late in the game were a joke too. If you're going to call a hold on the Bills then you have to call a hold on the Chiefs since they were doing a lot of jersey grabbing too. Especially late in a close game it's ridiculous to call it in one team's favor.

I love how left wing people constantly race bait. You don't see people who call out TT for poor play calling Tyrod supporters BLM, Antifa, alt-left, Obama etc. lovers. You don't see them stating that they most likely only own jerseys of black sports players or listen to only rap music.

That's what I was going to respond with. That should've been a pick 6. Marcus Peters gave a half-assed attempt on that play and instead of a pick 6 it went for a 33-yard gain for the Bills.

Like hell it isn't

Rewind it and watch it. The defenders were several steps away from TT when Thompson was open. Thompson ran a route to the same side of the field Tyrod was on too. Shouldn't have been hard to see him.

Go rewatch the replay. Thompson was open right away and the defenders were still a few yards away from Tyrod. He easily could've made that throw in time.

He was open way before Tyrod was near the grasp of Sorenson. He was open on the same side where Tyrod rolled out to too.

Deonte Thompson was wide open on that 3rd and 1 play but Tyrod didn't throw it to him.

It also shows what I said a few weeks ago about Hyde and Poyer being terrible after a hot start. They were making a lot of plays early in the season but since then they've been missing a lot of tackles and been out of position quite a bit.
