Agreed. The Giants only had one timeout left. So take a long shot on first down and if you don't get it then take a knee twice and the clock would still run out.

Basically saying you're playing for a shorter field goal. That's typical Leipold. Playing for 3 points instead of trying to get 7 there when you need a TD way more is ridiculous.

You can tell by the body language of some of the receivers that they're annoyed at all the running plays. So far 45 running plays to just 10 passing plays. This would've been a good chance to give a young QB and young receivers a chance to try to gel and gain some confidence. Marlyn Johnson had some really nice offers from high level P5 schools. He should've gotten more chances. Just 1 is ridiculous. At least they're up big but they were 48.5 point favorites.
