  1. To all obsessing about having to have a “true” #1 WR, and whom to trade for: I f a “true” #1 is so necessary and valuable, why would a team who has one trade him?
  2. I’m not even sure what WR stands for. I grew up with split ends and flankers.
  3. Definite hysteria elsewhere, not here. I tried to word it that way. I guess I just don’t swear kickers that much. If Bass doesn’t do better they’ll make a change. And I think as Josh gets older he will get wiser, not run as much, take check downs when they’re there, and have a good 10 more years of stellar play.
  4. We clearly just don’t mesh in opinion. I have a stats background but I don’t spend a ton of time trying to get into the weeds of things because the Bills are entertainment to me. So I’ll just refrain from comment now. If you don’t see that a blanket statement suggesting the team has no plan on offense is silly then there’s no sense attempting to converse. Go Bills!
  5. I skim your posts because they seem to provide confirmation bias.
  6. I just looked quickly and the Bills were 4th in YPG last year. Is it possible you’re overreacting?
  7. Challenging your assumptions is not stalking. To presume there is no offensive plan is silly.
  8. No they are not lacking that at WR. Or TE. You say that simply to confirm your negativity. Let’s see how they play.
  9. Thankfully one can hope Brady is more imaginative than the fan base.
  10. This is silly. No clear plan in view? You have no idea what Brady wants him to do yet. There’s some context for you.
  11. The kid is psyched to play with Josh, and has his own skill set. He doesn’t have to be Diggs or Davis. How about just being Coleman and see how that works?
  12. Only if by doing so it would have stopped the OP from going on and on and on about the WR position.
  13. Is it factually accurate? If one looks at the age of SB winning QBs a few were younger than Josh is now, a few around the same age, and some in their 30’s such as Elway, Staubach, Brady, and so on. I would argue the hysteria in some minds about Josh’s window is overblown. As for Bass, the impact of a holder is hard to measure. He has Haack now so we’ll see if that helps. If not and he continues to struggle they’ll move on. But assuming they’ll find someone who can kick better in the Ralph with how the wind swirls around in there is a risky assumption.
  14. Who can also catch. Who can also pass protect. And so on.
  15. Davis seems like a solid addition. Get 4 years out of him then draft the next guy. Such is the worth of the RB in the NFL
  16. Good discussion with you and Shaw. I wanted to comment on the value of expertise. One of the truly dangerous things going on in the country today is the lack of respect for expertise. We saw this most vividly during Covid on social media. I am a scientist with reasonable knowledge of virology and had hairdressers among others tell me on social media they knew more about Covid than me or other trained professionals. Front offices in the NFL have way more data than folks on TBD, thus a better chance of picking correctly. More data always is better than less. There are a few folks on TBD who really dig into as much film and that as they can, and I fund their assessments more worth a read. But the vast majority base in on maybe one YouTube video, if that.
  17. Thanks for the detailed reply. My position is pretty simple: let’s see what happens.
  18. There’s only one cut this year I think. If he acts up, cut him. No big deal.
  19. Every one of these guys is a low risk move. If they turn up well in camp, then they provide an asset to the team. If not they get cut.
  20. I’’m glad you’re proud to be a troll. Everyone aspires to that, i know.
  21. It’s amusing at some point. Yes they invested more high round picks on WRs. And yes most of them have not delivered.
  22. I think we all love Josh, but his improvement will come when he uses the entire set of weapons at his disposal and does do all over the field as you suggest. And if Coleman can make big plays out of bubble screens, fine by me. Bring the D up closer to the line then let Samuel or Shakir get behind them. I think we have more weapons than many are giving credit for. Diggs to me fell victim to two things: 1. Brady wanting to diversify the offense more and 2. while I have no proof, I suspect Josh was sick of dealing with him and let McD and Beane know.
  23. Different philosophies. The Bills have no reason to apologize for the trade no matter what happens. KC wanted a speed guy, we didn’t. We wanted a bigger guy for Josh. It may work out for KC because they have Mahomes.and Reed. The Fish have gone for speed but it hasn’t gotten them far because they have Tua.
