  1. I think it's possible they keep Croom, Lee and O'Leary and cut Clay.
  2. Peterman should start. He gets the ball out much quicker and we'll need that given the O line. But Allen is going to be the guy for years to come.
  3. It's an unknown for all the young QBs. But you saw things today that bode well. Stood tall in the pocket, had decent mobility, his supposed inaccuracy was not evident the few times he actually had time to throw. Like all young QBs the game has to slow down for him. Hard to get things to slow down the the other team is in your face all day long. All good points. Plus Shady makes them look better in the run game. Forgot to mention earlier but this Murphy kid is a keeper.
  4. Dawkins was out today
  5. Yeah Groy was just puzzling. Is it because of the guys on either side of him? Don't think so- think the first series the DT went by him like he was standing still. Probably because he was standing still. Nope.
  6. Reading a lot of hysteria about letting all our vets go to accumulate picks, the season is doomed, and so on. But similar concerns were raised last preseason and the reality is they made the playoffs. So removing the hysteria and focusing on reality: 1. Middle of the O line is clearly the biggest team weakness. I was very disappointed in Groy today, same with Miller, and Ducasse was just dominated. A guy his size cannot just allow himself to be pushed straight back. I expect Teller starts and Ducasse gets cut, maybe Miller as well, and that a C is targeted high in the draft next year. 2. Allen is going to be good, but Peterman has to start. He gets the ball out quickly which will have to be done with our O line. 3. D will be OK. Davis had a tough day but should be OK. Pass rush was lacking but they didn't show everything in their packages. And Edmunds will be a load soon. 4. Clay is expendable. Start Croom. I expect we'll be active in trades or waiver wire for linemen. And that while we may not be as good as last year we will not be the train wreck some are wringing their hands over.
  7. Was just going to post something similar
  8. I think you have to have a conversation. But until I saw other reports indicating the Bills may be interested, I pretty much wrote off the OP. Because it was, after all, LaCanfora.
  9. How can a Bills site not include the following (and I'll have to try and find videos): They're kiliin' me Whitey! They're killin' me You over-officious jerk!
  10. I am one that believes our debt is the greatest threat to our country right now.
  11. I hope so. It would be nice to have a fiscal conservative throw his hat in the ring.
  12. I am excited to see how Allen turns out. But let's not put too much pressure on a rookie QB
  13. I appreciate your perspective
  14. I would think Beane is at least asking the wuestion
  15. Oops, just saw you support the investigation continuing. Answers my question
  16. I'm glad we can discuss and keep it relatively civil. I still disagree. I think your conclusion depends on assumptions you are making about what Mueller has or doesn't have. We don't know that and will not know it until his report comes out. You mention him releasing Cohen to SDNY. That is for charges most appropriate to that district. It does not mean he has nothing else. As for criticizing previous investigations, yes the 2002 wasn't a good moment for the country. On the other hand Watergate was. Truman's investigation into defense spending was. What would be your alternative? One last question or two I've wanted to ask you: do you believe the Russians interfered or tried to with the election? And if so shouldn't we find out how so it doesn't happen again?
  17. I just read the entire transcript of his plea. There is nothing in there that definitively says that Cohen has nothing more to provide the government regarding the Russia investigation. Russia is mentioned nowhere. You are assuming because it was not part of this plea agreement that he must have nothing to offer. That is incorrect. Because I have read and listened to experts there could be a number of reasons for this. The special prosecutor no doubt has access to the materials obtained from Mr. Cohen's office. They may need time to confirm materials therein. They may need time to corroborate the claim made in the plea agreement about the president being involved; I doubt they will just take Mr. Cohen's word on it. So in summary I took your advice and went to the source. And objectively your claims are wrong from what I see. You sure you're not trying to force things to fit your narrative? Let the investigation be completed. Then let the chips fall where they may.
  18. Hope you're right. Have my doubts...
  19. I mentioned at the time of the trade I thought he'd get cut. We'll see.
  20. Two wrongs do not make a right.
  21. Sorry. She could have used her name, could have expressed sympathy. But she used it to slam another network. I'm a middle of the political spectrum guy but her comment was ridiculous.
