I was OK with Ducasse until the Bengals preseason game. You can't have a guy in the middle of the line get thrown around like a chew toy.

I think fans support their team and provide criticism when deserved. There are folks on this board who take every single thing this team does and spin it negatively. You know it. I know it. My question is why. I really am am interested in ananswer. What pleasure dosuch individuals get from that. More a question of psychology than about the team per se.

No. Complaining about actual performances is one thing. I for example think Ducasse should go. Complaining about things that haven't even happened because you assume they'll be bad is different. Such as those already saying Allen will be a bust. That is being negative just to be negative. McCain enjoyed actual debate.

I love discussion but some of what I see is not that I've watched them since opening day 1960. Believe me, there have been far worse times.

So this morning there's all this talk about how the GM is horrible because he didn't trade for Mack, how we'll stink this year, about how a rookie WB who has yet to play an actual game is a bust. And on and on. So my simple question is whay are you here if you hate this team so much? Do you take some kind of weird pleasure in trying to bring others down? Is it some kind of bizarre self-defense mechanism? What? Same kind of talk this time last year, and they made the playoffs.

I'm telling you, there are fans here who are actually fans of the team and hope for them to do well, as opposed to those who take some perverse pleasure in bashing them all the time. Lots of folks preaching doom and gloom will be surprised if they do better than what they want. You know, like last year.

Yes there is. Just listen to their comments when interviewed. They have a similar mindset and are working together to build a team that competes on a yearly basis. You say if they slip. Well, what if they don't? You say it's the same dumpster fire, but yet at this time last year there was doom and gloom, and they made the playoffs. will they be as good this year? I suspect not; they need to have to O line come together. But that does not mean they are a dumpster fire. I'm thinking 6-8 wins myself. I honestly don't understand your mindset. You are presumably a Bills fan or you wouldn't spend that much time on this site. But it seems you are hoping for them to do poorly. Is it just a defense mechanism to guard against being disappointed? Do you take some kind of perverse delight in being a Debbie downer? What motivates your behavior?

Let them play and see what happens. McD and Beane are working well together, they have short and long term goals. If I'm Terry I give them each 10 year guaranteed contracts and let them work their plan. The Russian roulette of coaching and GM changes is what caused the 17 year drought.

So many dumb things here. You first ignore the actual question asked in the OP. Who is the best right now? And based on the preseason it's Peterman. It will be Allen but not right now. The truly dumb thing is saying he's the worst ever. Have you watched the Bills since 1960? I have. I'll throw a few names out. Darraugh. Marangi. Ferraragamo. Dufek. And so on.
