  1. Run defense was actually pretty good whichbwould suggest Star was doing his job. Benjamin for me. Didn't like his effort.
  2. I responded to a comment suggesting that fan's feeling should affect who the coach is or how things are run. Which would be a nightmare. If you are a fan and you don't like it, walk. Yesterday was terrible. They all deserve criticism for that. Last season the same coach took a team everyone thought would be terrible and made the playoffs. You don't throw that out because of one bad game
  3. That's his personality. It's not going to change. You and I can remember some awful years. But I don't know that I recall games worse that the one yesterday.
  4. Kuoandijo got kicked to the curb. That's amusing.
  5. Then I hope we see some changes this week
  6. They stunk yesterday. That's on everyone from McD down to the last guy in the roster. Let's see what they do to fix it. But they sure as hell aren't going to do things because they think the fans will like it the most. Thank God.
  7. Then fans can choose to stop following the team. You may have heard of a couple guys named Polian and Levy. They were fond of saying you don't listen to the fans when making decisions.
  8. No you didn't
  9. Again if you can tell me you are like me and have watched games since 1960 fine. If not your take on worst in history is absurd. They stunk yesterday. One game.
  10. I hope your right. The coaches and team leaders have to get on some folks though. Some of the play yesterday was inexcusable.
  11. You go by the data bin front of you.
  12. The plan was to draft a guy. They did. And then bring a veteran presence in to help. They did with McCarron. But then McCarron didn't play well and Peterman did in preseason, so they went with Peterman. Who laid an egg. In hindsight they could have opted for a guy like Matt Moore vs. McCarron. And they just might given Peterman's performance. But Peterman worked his tail off all off season and showed well in preseason games. So he got his shot. some talk about losing the locker room; you could if you'd have ignored what Peterman showed up till yesterday. But he then stunk.
  13. You're the guy that would have traded the whole draft to get Winston. Excuse me if I place no validity in your thoughts on what constitutes a good QB.
  14. A. He's not getting torched. He was the best defender on the team yesterday B. You need a QB on the D almost as much as you need a QB on offense C. To claim any player at any position is a bust after one game in their rookie season is about as inane as it gets.
  15. Yes I did . Edmunds doesn't play offense.
  16. I think you're being too hard on Edmunds.
  17. No, that is actually having a plan. Your hatred blinds you to anything else.
  18. Hindsight being 20:20, we should have brought in a guy like Moore or Anderson as the veteran presence. But that's hindsight. They had seen Peterman a lot in practice and he had performed well, they thought AJ would be a guy that would come on once he got his chance. and they were wrong on both, it would appear. So now Allen gets his shot. A few games earlier than many of us thought. But it was inevitably anyway.
  19. How much better would AJ have done yesterday? Hard to know. We do know how bad he looked that one preseason game.
  20. The tune may be familiar but the melody is different. We never drafted a QB in the top ten before this year. One has to have faith they have the right guy in Allen, and that McD has his Kuechly in Edmunds. Then you go from there.
  21. Would you stop with this nonsense? The guy needs help, he is not coming back onto an NFL roster. They should be making calls to other guards to be sure.
  22. That's called putting your plan in place. They got rid of a malcontent in Dareus who was not playing to a level anywhere near where his contract said he should. They traded Darby and Watkins. Watkins I disagreed with but time shows he has not done much since he left. Darby one could argue they should have kept, but there was just an article in si.com about how they expect he won't get resigned by the Eagles. They knew they'd take a cap hit this year. One can argue about whether they could have restructured contracts or something else, but they decided to rip the band aid off rather than slowly pull on it. The success or failure of that plan will be dictated by how they use the excess cap dollars they'll have next year.
