I get why they’re doing it. But it sure looks weird.

Just quit the season. That performance was pathetic

Meh. All just vanilla for the most part. MVS dropped another ball, Jonathan made a few mistakes at DE. Those could hurt each of their chances. Only thing of remote concern was O line run blocking. -

Hmmm. If it was something with the holder or a physical thing with his plant or leg swing they would likely have identified it by now. Suggests to me it’s a mental thing, and if so they really need to be looking for somebody.

I’m usually not one to go into panic mode over a kicker, but it might be time to bring in another guy or two for a look/see. Bass missed two today. Anyone know from what distance? I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better

I think I’ve figured it out. PBF81 is the Bills equivalent of the Randy Quade character in Major League, miserable until they win, then pretends he knew all along they’d be great. I’d rather be optimistic than miserable myself. -

Realistically, what we are seeing in camp so far is that Brady is using formations to free guys up, that Coleman has really good hands, that Samuel is going to be used in a variety of ways, and guys like Shavers are busting their butt to make the team. -

By this logic you’d never have a rookie on an NFL team. -

How much money would Jack Kemp make in the modern day NFL?

Good point! I thought you meant get concussed and such. Guys were tough back then. -

Another Shaw gem. And Graham seems to yet again be trying to make himself part of the story. -

You said players from back then would get murdered. A torn ligament is hardly that. Plus they played on actual grass so that may have been better in terms of ligaments. -

The Dolphins have made a decision that paying a QB and WRs huge $$ is the answer. We’ll see but I think they fold in the playoffs again. -

Should we be concerned about Milano in pass coverage this year?

Not overly concerned right now. -
The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?

Diggs is gone. And I seriously doubt he’d be gone if Josh had not been OK with the move. -

Not really. Football in the 60’s was a completely different beast. DBs could do anything they wanted so passing was more difficult. -

I saw him play as well. Actually caught a pass from him on autograph day. And he had a very strong arm. -

Top 5. Can’t compare stats though because receivers could get mugged back then under the rules. Kemp would be a Josh-like guy with a great arm and running ability. -
Yes. For example if you just take a guy like a Diggs was and put him outside it’s easier to put coverage on him there. When you have a lot of motion, different sets, etc. it’s not as easy.

I’m sure Beane is shaking in his boots. Brady wants to have an offense that makes it hard for defenses to predict where guys will be in the passing game. Not a bad idea.
