Need a single for the Pats..worse seat the better!
4_kidd_4 replied to plenzmd1's topic in Bills Tickets and Gear
Hey, not trying to hijack, but was just gonna start a thread looking for a single stray to the Pats game as well. You first, sir. But if another pops up, I’m also listening, for a friend. -
Bills fan blows face off with fireworks...

They allowed you to bring a sealed bottle in to the opener last year bc the temps were almost in the 90s. Problem is, they announced it a few hours before gate time. Word of mouth spread quickly though. Also, my trick, get an empty water bottle from the tailgate, crush it flat and cap it. Stick it in yr waistband or pocket, and walk in with it. I’ve also gotten away w a full one in the pocket with the tee shirt covering it. You’re welcome.

Fight between Bills and Jets Fans

Yes. Yes it is. Personally, I don’t do it. I have a couple throwbacks, but they rarely leave the house, and I’m much younger than Joe Ferguson anyways haha. -

My one peeve from the Giants game

I said before the season, would like to see the “step on their throat” mentality from this staff. This post is a good example of when we should see a hint of that, and we didn’t. Yeah, we were pushing them around on both sides most of the day, but that ‘killer instinct’ still needs to be there. -

Buffalo Bills to fans on game day: Behave or be gone
4_kidd_4 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, we were crossing Abbot and Sheriffs were on traffic. 20-something kid was sipping from a can and had the rest of the tattered twelver cradled in his arm like a football. He sheepishly tried to lower the can and tuck the pack further away and the Sheriff was like “hey don’t worry about , just cross.” It’s definitely an OP cash maker, the town passed the open container enforcement law, not the county. As usual it’s about the sweet sweet cash under the guise of “safety”. -
Buffalo Bills to fans on game day: Behave or be gone

From what I’ve seen, OP cops are all over this but Troopers & ECo Sheriff didn’t seem to care. Could be different this year though. You could probably find a couple adults that would pay you for that. Hey, when opportunity knocks... -

The real potential BIG Problem for DTV and Football
4_kidd_4 replied to plenzmd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I got your back on this. I feel the same exact way. Between the officiating, the dragging out of the length of games, the forcing football onto thursday nights, overall league greed, I definitely only care about the Bills as a “social event”. When I’m not tailgating home games, I’m making a pot of sauce for fam to get together on away sundays. Love the Bills as a community bond, but I really don’t care for the NFL in general. *edit- just for clarity, I should add to each his own, if you wanna get down with 20 hours of football a week, enjoy! It just ain’t my bag anymore. -

That’s kinda been the Bills M.O. for about 20 years now ? -
The only “power rankings” that matter are the W/L columns. People keep falling for the clickbait and then get all worked up about it, hook/line/sinker.

Family Section at the Stadium?
4_kidd_4 replied to Bills Fan in MD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You should be fine pretty much anywhere. Security is much improved over the last 10 years or so, and there’s a lot of “self-policing” in the stands. Most people will respect a kid’s space, and won’t care if she stands on her seat, etc. Odds are better of a ‘safer’ time in the 100’s, but that kinda correlates with ticket prices. I’d say definitely get here for a Sept/Oct game, those tix prices bottom out by December and it attracts a certain type of crowd. -

Yeah man, and they almost rolled into the Peanut Guy’s table haha! The guy in the wheelchair that used to juggle bouncy balls off the Aud façade got out of the way with the quickness though. -

Idk about you, but I still use and HD antenna for my TV, and FM & AM antennae for my stereo receiver. Two beauty JBL house speakers and a turntable too. None of this soundbar streaming bologna. You’re on your own as far as the phone though. -

Man I’ll never forget seeing two “brokers” brawling in front of the Aud one time when I was kid. Someone stepped on the other guy’s turf. Bring back the “Free Market!” ? -

Gametime is a decent app, lets you purchase up to an hour before kickoff, and it’s mobile transfer. There’s fees but not as killer as stubhub. -

Oh yeah, they were all professional skiers. Bruce was even suspended in 88 for substance policy. Even the franchise was quite wary.... https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1989-01-11-sp-260-story.html Bills Reportedly Hired Detectives to Watch and Follow Bruce Smith JAN. 11, 1989 12 AM ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills hired undercover detectives to follow all-pro defensive end Bruce Smith for 3 weeks last November because of concerns about Smith’s association with a suspected drug dealer, according to a published report. The Buffalo News, citing police sources, reported Tuesday that the team had off-duty detectives follow Smith and watch his home. The detectives were part of the town of Hamburg Police Department, which earlier had conducted its own investigation into Smith’s activities, the newspaper said. The police investigation began after an informant told police the Bill star was involved with a known cocaine dealer.
