Don’t care for him whatsoever, but I do respect the fact that he plays for multiple hours at his live shows, gives his fans their $$ worth. I can get down with “Born To Run”, great hook. When I was at Carolina for a road game those poor folk looked genuinely terrified by us Bills fans. Personally, I think we’re more “festive drunk” than “angry drunk”, as a whole. It’s part of who we are, for better or worse. We drink with/to anything around here. I’ve had out of town friends come in to run races and they couldn’t believe that beer trucks are a regular thing at the end. I gladly took their drink tickets, ha.

Had an appointment in Buff early yesterday, ended up cruising over by the Central Terminal & by a couple dives over there around 11:45am, definitely not the same amount of buzz as a normal year. Was gonna stop somewhere for a lunch Dyngus beer but wasn’t feelin it. Most ‘events’ were scaled back and pre-pay only, which was totally understandable. Sad to miss a fun tradition two years in a row, but I guess we’ll just have to double down next year!

It’s all a meat fueled drunken blur. I had the weirdest dream that Marv came back as GM, Terrell Owens had a key to the city, and at one point some dude actually named “Mularkey” was in charge...

Not necessarily “better” but fantastic takes by both of these legends. I love 60’s pop-culture, especially all the musical crossover. It was a testament to accepting and appreciating different cultures, and a huge example of how music is absolutely a universal language and can be something that brings people together, particularly in the tumultuous “civil rights” era.

At this point, I don’t really care what happens. I would prefer to stay in OP, but I am a throwback traditionalist type. That said, I had plenty of fun out there as a little kid in the 80’s, as a teen/college guy in the 90’s, and well into my adult life as a season ticket holder. For most of the drought years it wasn’t even about the game, but more about the fellas and the food and the bustin chops at the tailgate. So many good memories with good friends and family. If it all changes it changes, I’m sure the next generation will make their own way, one way or the other. But whatever happens, I hope they keep public money out of it. Let the billionaires club foot their own bill.
