  1. any booger sightings?
  2. "this latest fooling-nobody try by drowning owners Terry and Kim Pegula to let everyone know they wont stand for losing and got it all figured out" Heh. Nailed it.
  3. Agree with you totally. Sundays at 1, perfect for the tailgate ritual.
  4. Night home games are just a hassle. It's a cool experience, but oversll not worth the bologna. It's like Thunderdome out there after the sun goes down...people huddled and sobbing around burning barrels, manical screaming in the distance, lost children looking for their folks...and that's BEFORE the game
  5. That's all I really want as a fan/consumer. I just don't get why they forced the system when they have the pieces you mentioned. I always though the system they were playing was for teams with a dominant goalie, a couple decent two-way players and not much else(ie. 90's Sabres w Dom, 00's Devils w Brodeur).
  6. Agree on all, especially the 'boring' part. If you're gonna stink at least try to put on a show. That arena is so stale and dry on gamenight, has been for the last 4-5 seasons. I certainly won't pay to go to a Sabres game until they're at least semi-entertaining. Hopefully the new guy(s) bring a better style with them. I also think part of this is the NHL being a very watered down product, in general. At least the regular season is. Come playoff time, I can't get enough because everything is better- the officiating, the storylines, the rivalries. Would be nice to have the home-team in the tourney, because nothing is like the streets of Buffalo during a playoff run. At least I think that's how I remember it, ha.
  7. Agree w run and gun hockey, enough with the 'system' dominating play. Unshackle Jack!!
  8. Been there, years ago. Hanging out at a girl's house w her for the first time, and my gut starts immediately rumblin. Case the joint and see the only bathroom is right off the living room. Dammit. Clenched my way through a movie, and was out the door before the credits were done. Had to pull over at the first wooded area I saw, and ran for the trees. Juuust made it. Ha.
  9. This is the perfect setup for a "your mom" reply, but I won't go there.
  10. I heard the fence dipped the shoulder and beat him clean inside for a strip-sack.
  11. Was honestly just thinking on my drive home, what has this fanbase done as a whole to deserve such trash franchises? I have zero confidence in the Pegulas' longview. How could you at this point? They appear to be nothing but marketing people, which would explain why they love Russ so much.
  12. Browns have consistently had to deal with Ravens and moreso Steelers. Even the Bengals make the playoffs. So let's shake hands and agree that at least we have a logo on our helmets
  13. They really do make it too easy.
  14. Hang your hat on occasionally beating other divisonal trash teams? Yikes. I surrender.
  15. Yeah it's media and fans' fault Pegulas are clearly in way over their heads with both franchises. The "just happy to have a team" vibe left with Ralph. The new boss talked a huge game with the Sabres purchase, and here we are at square-one again. It's put up or shut up time. Honeymoon's long over.
  16. I never thought I'd say this, but luckily I'm a long time KC Royals fan. Got a bit of joy from baseball the last few seasons. On topic, what a mess. OneFlubbalo.
  17. OK, fine. 'Tramp Fights' it is.
  18. So....'Hobo Fights' then?
  19. To keep arguing Bills/Browns would truly illustrate that we/they really are the "Bum Fights" of the NFL. I'll gladly let this go, if we can all concede the only thing we currrently have over them is better uniforms.
  20. You called the Browns out for their "laughing stock tradition". I'm calling out "glass houses".
  21. No one cares about our 'appearances' anymore. It's nothing but a trivia question.
  22. Hilarious that any Bills fan thinks we can laugh at any other franchise. Everyone likes to kick the Browns around, but guess what? They have an overall winning record, and 8 titles over two leagues. And have also been to the playoffs during our current run of futility. Cleveland Browns Seasons: 69 (1946 to 2017) Record (W-L-T): 509-470-13 Playoff Record: 16-20 Super Bowls Won: 0 (0 Appearances) Championships Won: 8 (AAFC & NFL) Buffalo Bills Seasons: 58 (1960 to 2017) Record (W-L-T): 400-460-8 Playoff Record: 14-15 Super Bowls Won: 0 (4 Appearances) Championships Won: 2 (AFL) 60 games under .500 all-time. Chew on that next time you want to mock any other franchise in any sport.
