  1. Reads like 70's Kung-Fu flick credits.
  2. 15-14 Jets, they go 5/5 on FG's and Hauschka shanks the potential game winner with 0:00 on the clock. Billsy!
  3. You can also bring wrapped sandwiches, unopened chips and other snacks into the stadium as long as it all fits into a clear 12x12 stadium bag. Our neighbors in our section bring in and share all kinds of goodies.
  4. Boom. Mic drop.
  5. To ruin it forever? Yikes. Anyway, hope everyone enjoys the game sunday, wherever you're sitting.
  6. Good Q. It took forever to get a Dinosaur BBQ here, so maybe there's hope for Tahous. I think Louie's may do garbage plates in Buff, but I'm not 100% on that.
  7. Man I get heartburn just from reading "Nick Tahous". Enjoy, fellas!
  8. You and I are on the exact same page. But I think it's the combo of mostly meaningless home games plus the policing of the stands that have taken away the home crowd rowdiness/advantage. The Steelers game last year was buzzing at the opening kick, Lorax picked off Ben on their first posession, crowd went insane, and then we run a three-and-out and punt away. Steelers score, bye-bye 'crowd momentum'. Can't really blame security for that But yes, I agree that I will also stay home once the experience gets totally watered down.
  9. It's 'conditioning' for the eventual billion-dollar boondoggle downtown Pegula Palace. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a cleaner, safer stadium experience, but I wholeheartedly agree with you, it is definitely getting a little too 'sterile' for my tastes. This is how they want it to be, inside and outside of the stadium, when the new building comes with jacked up ticket prices. They're gonna want to filter more people pregame into the stadium and out of the parking lots so they can recoup their building costs. Yes, it makes business sense, but what keeps me going back to the NErF is the couple hours pre and post game, eating, enjoying a beverage and busting chops with the tailgate crew. A downtown building will change everything, and that's just the way it is.
  10. We're gonna do fryer week twice at the tailgate.
  11. This is simply untrue. The security and police presence has significantly increased over the years. Each season has been calmer than the last for at least the last 10 years. "The Bills averaged three arrests and 57 ejections per game last season, both record lows for the franchise according to statistics provided later Tuesday by the team. Both figures are significantly lower than highs of 25 arrests per game in 2010 and 134 ejections per game in 2011." http://www.espn.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/200646/bills-cite-record-low-fan-arrests-ejections-despite-viral-videos
  12. Ah the old "70,000 drunk people" hot n spicy take. Please. Anyhap, I don't think any home game is sold out yet. They usually announce sellouts.
  13. It's all mostly cabbage anyways. Plus if I want to read any of it that badly i'll just "borrow" a hard copy from the lobby at work. Sully or no Sully, I'm not paying for that.
  14. This time it's for real. I'll still go to a few, but I'm done shelling out and committing to 8 games a year. It's a "time priority" thing, not a football thing. Shoot, if it was about the football I would have dumped my tix years ago. The tix crew is dwindling, and I always said that when the tailgating loses its oomph it would be time to go back to a handful of games here and there. It's still fun and entertaining, just not 8x a year anymore.

  16. Because it's my farewell tour as a season ticket holder.
  17. I'm personally a yuge fan of the "room to punt offense".
  18. I'm gonna jam a needle in my eye instead.
  19. Noticing that the kid had great hands and might have had a chance is 'overreacting'? Nah.
  20. Wrap it up here fellas, this thread is mudge ado about nothing.
  21. And it's just as awful now as it was in 1997.
  22. Mudge Dredd.
  23. False start my foot, he didn't Mudge!!!
