She has a great TV personality, big difference. The "is she hot" internet conversations are always hysterical. Like you neckbeards would say no.

Random Babble From a Rabble
TheElectricCompany replied to BadLandsMeanie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not sure the Seahawks model is the best. They were able to find a QB who could succeed despite horrendous O-line play and mediocre WR & TE talent. That's going to be extremely challenging to replicate, and I'm not sure you'd want to. -
In a parallel universe, if the opportunity presented itself, there would be zero hesitation.

The next Josh McCown. He was one of the dullest media room QBs I've ever heard. It was like they were talking to a cinder block up there. -
It is both the blessing and curse of tech advancements. New features and benefits that were never perceived possible, but new risks and dangers that never existed prior. I am equally terrified and intrigued on how wearables, AR/VR, implantables and nanotech will change society.

Goff looked terrible in year 1. His biggest help was quality coaching and improved WRs at his disposal. Did you know that they would break huddle as quick as possible so that McVay could help diagnose the defense, or modify the play call, until the headset would cut out with 15 seconds left on the playclock?

Thanks Polish, appreciate all the info. I've built my career in high tech and I've lost track of all the products and services I've dealt with that will "revolutionize the world" and nothing comes of it. "Cannot be altered"...., I am skeptical of this absolute. Tech is changing exponentially, mankind does not respond that quickly. With the crazy advancements that are happening in fields like semiconductors and machine learning, and new realities like large scale malicious botnets, not sure how long will we able to say that.

Jets fans opinions on the trade up to #12
TheElectricCompany replied to essential's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is simply a fact that we had a golden opportunity to draft two great QB prospects last year, and we said "Nope, we'll pass". I'm not saying that it was the wrong decision. It will take a few years to find out, but it's going to sting more if our new QB busts. -

This is about becoming a consistent championship contender. Talking about the events that allowed us to sneak into the postseason and put up 3 points isn't relevant. We had a shot at some superb QB prospects and passed them up. Now it appears that we are going to give up a ton of currency to get a shot at another one. Time will tell which "process" was the correct one. -

The injury concern is legitimate, very true. Will he drop off because of "tape"? Not so sure of that. He showed quickly that he has great poise, accuracy, anticipation and arm strength. Trying is easy. The Browns have been trying for decades. Nobody is giving them a pass. This is a production based league. The moves you make have to equal wins. We are clearing cap space and expected to move a ton of draft capital to build around our "franchise QB". If it doesn't work out, say goodbye to McD and McB. -

With all due respect, my friend, the Bills have very consciously put themselves in position to make these moves through some very cagey and disciplined planning and forward thinking. Keep in mind that to get these picks, we passed up on Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes last year. Watson looks stellar already and we'll find out soon enough on Mahomes. He has quite the collection of playmakers to work with. If our moves to get a QB in 2018 don't work out for whatever reason, and it is a very real possibility that they don't, we will look like the meatheads in the clown car. -
I'm still struggling with blockchain and how revolutionizing it will be. Can't help but feel that is a manufactured problem, where the current system simply needs a tune up, not that it needs to be replaced with an open source "public ledger" power suck. Bring on the blockchain bros to tell me how I'm wrong!

Is Beane Being Too Careful?
TheElectricCompany replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only move I hated then, and still hate now, was trading Darby. Otherwise, what can you get upset about? He sold high on Glenn and Watkins. Hughes has given us 5 sacks a season. For $10m a season, is it really that shocking if we move on from him? -

Wow. Much information. Such insight. This is like saying you want a wide receiver with great hands. Everybody wants a pocket passer. -

We're not going to see any movement on those picks until draft day. The popular narrative is that we are moving way up for a QB. It is still a BIG leap to go from the 20s to the top 5. Let the rampant speculation continue! -
