  1. is their really a wr hierarchy here?.. more like if you happen to catch the ball u were the number one for that down the ball bounced badly every chance it got
  2. heres to hoping, partly because he makes it awful
  3. I've been saying this to an extent. Daboll didnt even try to run but..He didnt have an elite runner either, Joe has an Elite qb
  4. Coleman's 4.61 40-yard dash doesn't necessarily jump off the charts, but in the gauntlet drill at the NFL Combine, Coleman reached a top speed of 20.36 miles per hour – the fastest speed by a receiver over the last two seasons. you would think....you would have him running crossers day and night... he also has made big plays on them yet we rarely ever see them called for him.
  5. and how short their memory is. i'd like a competent wr.. prob wont be named Gabe Davis
  6. quick question. i believe it was in the first half....Keon on the left sideline, 3rd or 4th down.... comes incomplete...d player had both hands on him the entire time, no mention of pass interference...why>?
  7. wow... he might be ahead of last year.... (honestly probably not)....
  8. i was thinking back to this....wondering if there hasnt already been some dissatisfaction with beane and the drafting https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2024/6/30/24161970/buffalo-bills-make-moves-to-scouting-staff-ahead-of-2024-season-blesto-national-in-house-cfb-draft New to the Bills’ scouting department are: Matt Bazirgan, Director of College Scouting — his previous role with the team was as Senior Personnel Executive. Darius Vinnett, Area Scout — Vinnett joins the Bills after spending 11 seasons in scouting with the Arizona Cardinals. Prior to joining Buffalo’s front office, he was an area scout in the east with the Cardinals. Vince Magri, Pro Scout — Magri comes to One Bills Drive and the NFL after a stint as general manager of the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL. Promotions for those within the scouting department: Asil Mulbah, Director of College Scouting — previously, Mulbah was a Pro Scout with the Bills. Keith Jennings, Area Scout — prior to his promotion, Jennings was Buffalo’s BLESTO Scout. R.J. Webb, BLESTO Scout, working with the college scouting team — Webb was previously a Pro Scout with the Bills.
  9. the problem is at this point, even with a good gm i think it would take more than a year to make much of a dent in the roster...with out a fairly good tank
  10. Daboll isnt the coordinator because he started going nuts with his play calling and was no longer effective. brady is because...right place, right time..along with bills brass didnt have to actually put work into finding one the worst jets sweeps everrrr
  11. right there with ya.... now....how much do u trust them with a top 10 pick?....
  12. without an elite qb and two elite wr's ... im convinced thats why he wants to live off of cooks coattails
  13. Shavers actually had a pretty good reception. the route running concepts are horrid. if the running game is doing great then teams are selling out to stop it but other wise its pretty straight forward to shut down the passing game.
  14. but its been stated over and over that Buffalo is just going to run straight at you, they are not trying to disquise it...there is nooooo disquise to anything in this offense
  15. yep and NE keeps winning and u cant say that roster is that much better than this one (healthier maybe)
  16. twice announcers mentioned josh and wr being not on the same page... again i think that is due to the passing game over 5 yards being an after thought
  17. Landon Jackson is like a microcosm of every decent player that is drafted or signs a contract it seems like.... im not sure how u even get that unlucky accidently
  18. Beane the fall guy? for as much as ive supported and loved beane most of the time he's been here is made massive mistakes. through bad drafting, bad contracts and bad luck this team is a shell of what it has been talent wise. and funny thing is for all the "this is the offense mcdermott wants" guys. we were loving life with the Daboll passing game for years, while it was effective. then the league D's changed their approach, Daboll was the passing version of Brady and it became totally ineffective so Mcdermott wanted a Balanced run game. No where that i can recall has he said he doesnt want a passing game.
  19. im sure its because they have so much more talent on offense
  20. i guess one is in the mood for a post game thread? its Ironic that maimi just did to us what we did to NE. They basicly used our game plan against us and did a better job executing it. On one hand like ive said before, if we cant run the ball things go south quick. along with that it was just one of those games where luck was on the wrong side of the pendulem every time. I can remember lots of games agasint miami in the 90s that on matter how great Marino played they just had crappy luck. This is also an example of why you cant lose any games that should be guaranteed during the season. Another things is the miami heat kills Buffalo players. During the first have the announcer said the plays so far have come of mis-direction for miami. do we understand the concept of misdirection other than throwing the ball to moore where he has to run 5 yards to make it back to the line of scrimmage? for the record...i am not pro brady...
  21. it wasnt the decision it was the play call
  22. its maddening that we do something that works and dont go back to it. crossers work well for us...rarely see them.... the one today to kincaid was a nice play
  23. for all the crap that mcdaniel gets, his actuall play calling is much better than what brady comes up with. this offense is totally one dimensional and while the run game is great, as can be seen, if it falters the passing game is just an afterthought
