  1. Definitely illustrates the patience needed wth a rookie QB. Good post BLM.
  2. I could be wrong here. ... (disclaimer) but sitting here thinking about things, it seems beane and mcD have a clear idea of what they want and don't want. Looking at the trades made, what we got in return vs what was given foe them. I thing if you don't fit in the box they have created, you have no real value to them. I'd put Taylor outside their box, they just don't have an option at the moment.
  3. Kind of my view point. Don't want him for the future? Fine but as long as he is your starter right now, put him in the best possible position to succeed. Dont take away what his strength is and hang him out to dry because he didn't have the success you wanted handicapped by your box
  4. You would think, but then there were sources saying Dennison was the one wanting the change.
  5. I don't remember pats o-line ever being bad for long. Unless they are going against an elite D, Brady can pretty much eat lunch while surveying the field.
  6. Excellent point. I'm with you on that. It's pretty much, damned if u and damned if you don't for Tyrod.
  7. It has been Taylor, but it doesn't help if the HC is in his ear about playing that way. A few sentences later, Benoit suggested this has less to do with Taylor (and with what Taylor can or cannot do), than with McDermott: “McDermott is known to be almost obnoxious in stressing turnover prevention.” Taylor’s interception rate (1.1 percent) ranks third-best in the league, even now. His aggressiveness, measured by passes to targets within one yard or less of a defender, is 14.3 percent, which ranks third-lowest. He’s been doing exactly what the Bills want him to do.
  8. What happened too... we're better than 5-4?
  9. That could still be true.
  10. I hear a Snickers cures everything.
  11. I just put the name of the article and that it was an article. Not sure how that is confusing.
  12. https://deadspin.com/the-bills-have-been-clueless-about-tyrod-taylor-1820609446 Decent article from deadspin. Talks about McDermott being the one almost anal about playing safe, avoiding turnovers. Not playing to taylors strength, Shady not running out of shotgun much this year compared to last.
  13. Pretty much it. It's hard to win in the NFL
  14. true..but minus the injury possibility, passing the ball was still where we were most effictient. both in yards and tds
  15. nice work..notice one of those games was buffalo? I just look at it like if your qb is throwing for 75% and your running back is lucky to get past the line of scrimmage then throw, and throw a lot until it stops working.
  16. They also stopped wasting 2 downs running no where
  17. I'm more enamored by Taylor. Pass rush consistently in his face all game. No run game, receivers not getting much seperation. Bad game plan.
  18. Good read as usual, thanks. Surprised you said your pretty much sold on Taylor, seems that you have previously been pretty down on him and believed it was one of the upgrades needed. Although Taylor can be frustrating at times I do like him. I wish when Taylor is able to actually throw the ball, they would do it more. I really wish that as our wr core improves that we can be more pass focused, I don't want to give up on the run game ( though last night it would have been prudent) but it would be nice to have more faith in the passing game and see more aggressive play calling.
  19. We really should have. We could have passed against Carolina as well
  20. On top of a lackluster performance by just about the entire team, the coaching sucked big time. Both this game and the Panthers game was bogged down by trying to hard to run the ball. When we where finally forced to throw the ball and be aggressive we started moving down the field. It was obvious early the running game was going no where. Yet they gave up down after down trying to run against the Jets strength. Bad game plan, bad execution all around. Zero adjustment on O or D. During the game.
