Terrel Bernard Defensive Player of the Week!
Comebackkid replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
he covered so much space that he ran right past them... he might have been hard to throw over but i think defenses adjust to him pretty good after a whie and took advantage of his short <-- haha...commings -

watched both these earlier...actually posted the full chris long one. I like watching Chris long... heartfelt..smart and funny at times. -
The season he had 9td, he was a force, trucking people..high light sideline catches. he was physical and athletic. i know he had a down season i guess playing injured and then between daboll going nuts and ken dorsey came in and the offensive strategy changed completely. within that knox's usage also died. hard to believe that his athletic ablity and drive died. I do love kincaid though. im not sure i'm a fan of how we utilize tight ends now but were winning so i'll just sit back and watch. on a non football week i wanted to hightlight what Dawson Knox had brought to the table at one point.

I've seen this..and its both. most teams and especially NE of the past and now the chiefs really play better in the playoffs. the chiefs last year were just gettin by and then playoffs hit and they killing everyone...though no one mentions it..but playoffs the bills handled the chiefs the best of everyone. Buffalo through injuries and what not to the Defense seem to actually play at a lower level than reg season. injuries on D have killed them but mainly was talking offense.
-
after watching monday night chargers game... chiefs better buckle up if they dont want to come down with some injuries. they might kill worthy. i could totally be wrong but to me it seems like we have a different playoff mindset, when it comes to coaching...we seem more timid, more reserved, more cautious.

Benford, Bernard & Shakir…re-sign all of them?
Comebackkid replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
huh?...the only time i remember anything about blacking out was when he said he watched josh on the final run....i didnt take it as a health issue. -
that one they push adnauseam. talk about irony. i find it strange when most people say that kc is a great place to tailgate and the fans are pretty cool during the game. maybe just the moms basement dwellers hang out in the forum.

here he doesnt have a lot seperation but it doesnt matter. showed good hands and speed. where did you hear he didnt work hard enough?

does anyone know Brady's usage of TE's in college ? one thing i dont get..is if u watched the video knox took a lot of outlet/screen lineups about 3 yards past the where josh was and he was highly effective. i dont know how many times ive seen the outlet lined up in a latteral line with josh, we have one blocker and the D has two defenders. one takes out the blocker and the other takes out the ball carrier and its dead play. with knox he was starting to run as soon as josh turned his head his direction to throw at times. also MVS two games...two big showings.
-
idk....5 or so and then nothing...i thought they had stopped doing the show untill just recently
-
i'd like some plays...where.....u have a few plays in your pocket that fool the defense...maybe you dont need them in certain games but take the end of the game. pass play was called..nothing special to it...chiefs knew exactly what was coming...josh thinks quick and makes the play. but...it wasnt because of some great play call. i dont want to be miami or baltimore where u live off crazy motion all game long..but you cant deny that there arnent situations where its extremely benificial.
-
what im saying is...most all of the plays are just straight forward..heres a standard play, go make it. there may be 5 variations of that standard play...but, they are for the most part standard plays. you seen the one trick play that was an abomination and about got josh killed. I'm not hating on brady..but... its still 30 shades of vanilla.
-
ditto...one of them was in the highlights..he had a lot of success with the angry runs and the toe tap side line plays
-
ok i had to go back to buffalo plus...and revive my memory, which is pretty much road kill at this point. i guess after the indy game players were coming up to him and saying wow...awesome catch (30 yard catch against indy) and that was when he said..hey i been doing this for awhile guys.
-
why do reporters ask half the questions they do? I have no idea
-
i didnt notice it during the game but i think i heard something about it...miscommunication probably
-
i doubt it....i mean i'd love to see it... but wrinkles dont seem to be Brady's specialty. not sure if he just doesnt believe in it or if the offense just hasnt made it that far yet.
-
the afc play off game was 2022 correct?....him and Davis were pretty dang good... then come the next year the offense seemed to change and knox and Davis both struggled. I know Davis had ankle injuires? cant remember if knox got injury plagued as well or not.

his usage died before that
-
his use as a big time TE did

Ad libbing a bit here but i guess when Dawson was interviewed post game they asked him how it felt to make a Td. His answer was just..hey...ive been here before and done that. at the end i was really beginning to think Daboll had completely lost his mind but...man he did an excellent job scheming players for a while. Brady should lock himself in the closet for about 12 hrs and just keep watching this video. I had totally forgot how great of an outlet player Dawson was. and only one time in this entire video did i see an outlet player or screen lined up directly lateral from Josh. Some of these plays Dawson was an out right bully. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HbqyOwdzOY you'll have to click on the link because of nfl regs but its worth the watch. this was posted in 22 and has 13 mins off bang bang play after play highlights.

besides the obvious... a strong draft and hit on atleast one elite talent. one elite d line man to take over a game when we need it would pay huge dividends. and elite (very good) receiver that can take the top off the D and be a game changer. Bills have drafted some good players but to many times we have had to pay big money for someone elses used talent.
