as much as i really want to laugh my ass of at this idea, it sounds much better than to think that McD and Fraiser missed the mark that badly on their defensive game plan against the pats. the game plan was much better week 4 and im of the opinion our D is better than it was then. Our pass rush didnt even come into fruition until the second half of the season yet we got good pressure on brady in week 4. play Ne like we played balt on D and we win that game.

i'd go B-. the first half was bad but part of that was the pats never gave him a chance to get many attempts and Daboll didnt help either. The two long balls and the 4 n 1 sneak were A+ plays on his part. very little running game and what points were accrued were all due to his playing. Also look at this game compared wk four...that game still has to sit at the back of your mind as a QB.

on the big throw to brown and another big throw...he actually stood there with the blitz coming right at him and threw the ball at the last second. when he took the horrible sack i thought he was doing the same thing, not sure if what he was hoping would open up didnt...if he just ran out of time or what happened there. i seen him actually step up into the pocket a few times as well which he needs to do more of. brady makes this look effortless as he just watches D players coming right at him and calmly steps up into the pocket and makes his pass. hopefully this improves going forward Daboll does zero for Josh on first down usually.

is it to much to expect that by the end of the year we wrap up and make good tackles? how about not running the same delayed hand off 75% of every first down? How about looking at what we did in week 4 with great results and repeating that on D. If we can pressure Jackson we can pressure tom but we didnt even try. I expect us to capitalize on the things we can do well and we didnt do that today.

but why?..its not like there isnt already plenty of footage of that out there from our D. He wasnt protecting the D by being vanilla because all it did is keep them on the field a lot longer. Not to mention losing to the Pats doesnt exactly reinforce the idea to young players that this is a different team from years past, with a winning mindset and the ability to do it.
