  1. Right, it's nice Josh got recognition, but this isn't exactly the be all/end all of who's who.
  2. Way to much space between Gilmore and Tre. Eagles fans are pissed Wentz didn't make it and Josh and Kyle did.
  3. Just because there wasn't charges doesnt mean it didn't cost him plenty. Get what you're saying though.
  4. This time it has to do with madden rating Josh higher for arm strength.
  5. Well.. When was the last time Flacco didn't stink? He was horrid in Denver and was horrid before arriving in Denver. And did you mean instigate?
  6. i thought the same thing..but i always see wierd crap others usually dont.. i thought it was mostly his eyes, eyebrows and forehead.
  7. You're right, I was momentarily mixed up
  8. I thought Belichick's motto was: Dont sweat the petty stuff, just pet the sweaty stuff.
  9. In times like these I'm all for any small amount of excitement I can get. The draft is like Christmas Day though. All the shiny new toys we waited all year to unwrap. Good times.
  10. yeah but he was an excellent pass catcher last year and they didnt use him... Moss is an excellent pass catcher. im not sure why yeldon is even on the team..unless his contract doesnt make it sensable to get rid of him.
  11. Balance is a very good way to look at it. The Pats have been the best team in the league for the last 20 years at finding talent with out over spending. letting players go before they are washed up and still hold some value. having the right balance of coaches that can work together. Also maybe the hardest thing to do ...finding a balance that allows you to win this year while still having your focus on winning for the next 10 years. I think that with Beane, he does and excellent job of understanding this balance, by far better than any previous gm we have had in ages. Also the Union of Bean and McDermmot being on the same page and having similair philosophies gives us a great advantage to build upon. Thanks for the write up, nice work.
  12. Looks like Trey was 274 when he became a Huskey. Doesnt look like they really forced him in college to train with weights. After the lengthy recovery from back and knee surguries he lost his speed and athletism that made him so appealing. He said that after going through all that it made him sit back and re-evaluate life and decide how much he really wanted to play football. He also said that the hardest thing coming back from an injury is the mental aspect of trusting that your body is healed and everything is ok...he said mentally he feels great and completely trusts body. Said he feels stronger than before....started all 13 games his final year. Hopefully just a case of getting his body built back up physically now.
  13. Sooo....Cole Mcdonand had an arm....ei ei ooo......
  14. granted my up close vison sux...however...and this could be slightly alchohol induced but...if i keep the pic of dane jackson small he sorta looks like fred.....jackson.... seeing him close up not as much but..hey...memories still.
  15. and he could run in a straight line.
  16. we get some dudes that can get separation and track/catch the ball and get yac.. we dont have to rely on gadget plays and trickery
  17. maybe he meant decades....?..... a hall of famer after after only a few years..thats impressive!
  18. utah's all time leading rusher..you dont achieve that by being a mediocre running back.
  19. an early draft pick from the west..is Beane feeling ok? lol
  20. so one thing i noticed about aj that actually reminded me of Bruce is the way he tackles..he gets high up on the shoulders and wraps his apponents up...this way he has a leverage/weight advantage over them...watch highlights about Bruce and he loved to tackle this way. Also you cant over rate a colllege player with a strong skill set. A player with strong athletism sometimes doesnt develop the skills and then age erodes that speed leaving a slow untalented player. im excited to see what he can do. right now with a more than likey short off season and everything up in the air a player with a strong skillset is going to dominate as a rookie. if Beane is happy im happy
  21. actually his draft profile reads a lot like kyles...nothing fancy...smart player..multi sports talented.... uber dependable and plays 100% to the last second
