i find it was more impressive back then because teams actually had to game plan around good running backs. now days some teams have a good running D but i think by design most teams are set up to defend the pass

surprisingly a lot of sports shows think buffalo pulls out a win. i do think we have a better chance after the loss to the rams, over had we won. The only thing i have to say about that is how many records has allen been breaking lately..in a qb driven market. i heard pundits say that its all that more amazing for Barkley because teams dont rush like that anymore. I look at it the opposite way though..for one there hasnt been that market for superior running backs or the game planning for them so a lot less competition and teams arent built to stop the run like they were 10-20 years ago.

Usually if they only have to focus on the run we can deal with that, but as soon as we have a rushing attack that is something we have to focus on and they can pass at will then we cant shut down both. Usually we can score fast enough that a strictly running team will be forced to pass and make mistakes. thats why this D tends to suck in the playoffs is because its great against 3/4s of the teams we face but in the playoffs when you have an accurate qb that doesnt make stupid mistakes and they can run as well we just dont have the talent to keep up and scheme alone wont do it. with that said im hoping for an upset.

idk..its going to be interesting if they have to leave their safety valve of promoting someone....thats where the nerves come into play. i remember the last coaching genius that came from oregon....that makes me nervous as well

the problem is ... the Bills achillis heel is shutting down teams capable of both running and passing. I think we will come out with a good game plan and hopefully its another game like the one against miami where they had just put 70 on denver... Thats all i have is hope.

Thats kinda what I feared.. someone mentioned that Allen needs to recognize sooner what type of game its going to be...a shoot out or not and get some momentum going..which i thought allen did start out more agressively but he did make some mistakes early. If they had started playing in the 2nd qtr like they did in the late 3rd and 4th they might have put up 60 points. but back to that theory..i put that on coaches.. I always felt the 13 second game could have been won but we realized to late that we were in a shoot out. yesterday i think we seen the writing on the wall, we just couldnt get it going quick enough.
