McD's fear of getting beat deep is causing our corners to give too much cushion; which is causing the opposing team to pick us apart underneath; which is causing long sustained drives and less drives for our offense; which is causing our defense to not get off the field; which is causing the increased amount of defensive injuries this year.

"Josh is definitely not the main reason for the offensive woes. That said, I do think he is a tad slower compared to past years."
Totally agree, just something I noticed.

Is it just me or does Josh look a lot slower running the ball. Back in his rookie or second year some of his runs were clocked in the 20 mph range and he was making d-backs and LBs look silly running by them. Seems like now when he finally does run he has trouble beating defensive line. Anyone else notice this?

The Jets are going to be tough.
Kinda bugs me that the Pats got 15+ years of a weak division, but when we get good, it's likely to be the best division in the league.
I have been thinking the same thing.... it's maddening!!

Since Gabe started moving forward before the snap, should this have been a penalty?

Gotta be Hockenson at 9. Brought in Ed Oliver early as a smoke screen. Bean's reputation relies on Josh Allen succeeding. He would be the biggest help to Allen's development for his blocking and pass catching ability. Plus he will help with Allen's completion percentage with additional short and intermediate throws which is in line with the way the NFL is trending.

I already got in trouble for saying that.

I don’t think that was a bad pass. Hit foster in his hands.

Dawkins stays on his feet and we get a first down on Allen’s run.

Can we stop with these, "X player is horrible because they don't play like a Hall of Famer on every play."
It’s pretty evident.

I hate saying this but edmunds is really bad.

Groy has to be the worst offensive lineman I have ever seen. He has no side to side mobility and whiffs on almost every play. Not a coincidence our line struggles when he is in there. I have to admit I wanted to retain him when the Chargers were going after him. Boy was I wrong.

Wasn't there a corner earlier in the year that filled in for gaines and did a decent job only to get cut the next week?

Thank goodness. Yet another example of this regime's lack of talent evaluation and putting the wrong people on the field. Are they doing this on purpose?

Actually, I would offer that he's better. While obviosly not as fast, he will actually try and throw before he runs most times that Ive noticed. Also he's very good at situational football, gets what he needs however he can.
Actually, according to next gen stats Josh Allen was going 20.6 mph during his touch down run of 10 yards. That is the fastest run by ANY quarterback over the last three years (which are the only stats they have kept). Tyrod Taylor is on the list once, running 19.23 on a 18 yard run in week 9 of last year.

It is truly is incredible how long this man lasted in a professional sports organization, let alone 2. First off he was a marketing major and division 3 baseball player at st john fisher with no background whatsoever in football. He weaseled his way up the ranks by kissing ass and made it big time by ingratiating himself to a 90 something year old owner who thought of him as the son he never had. How he ever made any football decisions is remarkable. Marketing genius??? Selling football to buffalonians is like selling crack to an addict. Plus I have very credible sources that tell me that this wouldn't be the first time he was "unfaithful". It was only a matter time till he got caught. Bottom line is that worm tongue is a scumbag that wore out his welcome years ago. No doubt Mcbeane saw right through his bull **** and are happy to see this idiot gone.

Watching this game live was crazy. Gus Johnson had the call and he was out of his mind. Right then I knew I wanted Rosen and would only trade up for him or Darnold.

I don't know about late death, but I do notice that he has a pretty big motion throwing this ball. He wanted it there in a hurry, and he drives hard off his back foot and makes a good sized hip and shoulder turn. The guys with big arms tend to snap off a throw like that.
I can see that shaw.. Makes me think of how Fitzpatrick would wind up.

That was actually a prime example of late death on his throw.
That ball had a late tail on it...........it was thrown well in advance to spot but notice that Benjamin adjusts downward at the last second.
The TV angle was closer and showed the tail finish.
It looked to me like that ball had pretty good carry for a 25+ yard throw.

Bass' kicks have more movement than a mlb pitcher. Everyone talks about the wind causing it but every other kicker that kicks against us their ball is straight as an arrow. He needs to go.
