  1. DeJean is a playmaker. A lot of similarities with Hyde.
  2. Do we know the trade terms yet?
  3. Too many injuries have happened on those Thanksgiving day games. I’ll take Week 1.
  4. I get the thinking, but the dollars and cents of an extra year on the rookie deal might make such a selection more palatable, especially at the end of round 1. I’m not banging the table for it. Heck, I’m not even advocating for it. I just wouldn’t hate it.
  5. I know many would call it a slight reach, but I would be 100% OK with Pearsall at #28.
  6. This is a bad argument. It WAS a terribly talent deficient offense. That is a HUGE reason one should hold off starting their rookie QB for as long as is prudent.
  7. Not having a first round pick flat out sucks. So much changes from season-to-season and boy does that first rounder help. I am generally against the trading of future firsts. Conversely, I don’t have the same disdain regarding the trading of a current season first rounder. There is a lot less uncertainty with the whole of the roster and so it can make sense from time-to-time (see Diggs). Trading future firsts has a whiff of desperation and I think organizations get themselves into trouble that way. I think we have to consider the following scenario: Bills trade future first, Josh gets badly hurt before the season even starts, and the Bills have a terrible season without the silver lining of a premium pick. That is all entirely in the realm of possibilities. Having the pick is like having an insurance policy.
  8. OP calls McD many things. McD says, “To say we haven't had success or Josh hasn't had success, I think would be kind of narrow-minded. It's hard to win in the NFL, so you kind of regroup every year, and you take it one game at a time.” OP flips out. OP, believe it or not, the people talking on your screen cannot see you.
  9. The way Kincaid catches the ball is… pretty? That video shows smooth hands catch after smooth hands catch. Loved him in the final KC game. The first highlight of that game was Kincaid making an incredibly difficult contested catch that was also at a very clutch moment in that game. I was in attendance and despite already being frozen, it still sent a chill through me. I remember thinking, ‘THAT is exactly why the Bills wanted HIM.’
  10. Build the Jests up now so that the media can make hay about the inevitable in-season fall.
  11. Anything but a WR in the first round is going to make for a looong Friday that draft weekend.
  12. It is still clear as mud!
  13. Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State - San Diego Rome Odunze, Washington - NJ Giants Ladd McConkey, Georgia - Kansas City Chefs Brian Thomas Jr., LSU - Cincinnati Bungles Xavier Worthy Texas- 49ers Bonus Bills pick - Troy Franklin
  14. That’s my question. Didn’t the new league year start today? It would be two different league years.
  15. If they re-restructured JA’s contract tomorrow, would the two restructurings technically be in two separate league years?
  16. Diontae put a few very lackluster efforts onto his tape last season. Wonder how he will respond if and when the Panthers start losing.
  17. I’m not into hating the player. Poyer is really good at what he does. I do, however, LOATHE the decision. Here’s to beating Poyer at least twice next season!
  18. The helmet is also kind of melting into the floor. This is some weird AI photo!
  19. Healthy scratch?! He had a ribs injury in the KC regular season game and missed the next two weeks because of it. He probably was only really getting healthy by the KC playoff game.
  20. In college, AJE got better every season. He had a slow transition to the NFL, but one can make the argument that he has again improved every season. Here’s hoping that trend continues. Glad he remains a Bill!
  21. I’m an AJE fan. Would love to see him back in Buffalo.
  22. We did get some player insight into this topic with the release of the players’ grading their own organizations. The Bills performed well in these grades overall, but one area that has lagged behind for multiple seasons now has been that the Bills players seem to feel that the team’s training department is understaffed. That would seem to be related to some degree with injuries or at least recovering from injuries. I wonder if this is something that would change with the new stadium and the space that will be added.
  23. This is a really thought provoking question. In the whirlwind of that day, it flew right by me.
  24. This season is one step back so the Bills can (hopefully) take two-to-three steps forward in the future.
