  1. I'm a huge Hawkeyes fan. Maybin was the guy every team threw at so they could stay away from King. The write-up that Wayne posted is spot on, IMO. He is just not a play maker. Tough to see him panning out as a pro. Wish him all the luck in the world though. He was still a good Hawkeye and I don't believe the coaches ever had a problem with him so I can see why the Bills would take a look.
  2. Really enjoyed that read!
  3. I didn't get to go to a live game until the 2000's. Ugh. Best memory is probably the Cincinnati @ Buffalo game - shouting out to Takeo Spikes to come to Buffalo as a FA during the offseason. That seemed to work. Also enjoyed watching the Bills beat the Tebow QB'd Broncos.
  4. Provided the Bills don't go DB in R1, I like Des King (DB out of Iowa) in R2.
  5. It would be fantastic to find that many trade partners in order to accrue more picks.
  6. How is Seymour at tackling? I think I recall McD saying that tackling ability is something he really looks for in his CBs - especially when it comes to tackling an RB coming out of the backfield. For his size, I think Darby is actually quite good at tackling. I have no clue how good Seymour is.
  7. I wouldn't call any of the RBs a nerd either - they'd beat me up and I wouldn't be fast enough to run away!
  8. Well obviously this is Marrone's second chance and it's obviously obvious that he's going to try his best, obviously.
  9. Funny thing is - if the Bills draft a QB at #10, that QB will likely be 'on the shelf' all season long!
  10. Beathard interests me as well. Tough, succeeded with some of the worst WRs in FBS, and ran a pro-style system.
  11. The way coach said it was so confusing! I also took it as "we think Ragland will start at MLB as in that's the position group he'll practice at, not outside LB." However, when the exact quote is "Ragland will start at MLB," that is pretty confusing!
  12. Ha! I was thinking the same thing. This is a classic example of "the pot calling the kettle black."
  13. This is where I'm at as well. Praise (and condemnation) has got to be tied to wins and losses.
  14. Another BBMB refugee here. Application for asylum was granted!
