  1. meh. lots of bitching today. i get it, but this is the way most predicted this season to go anyway. it's about the future, not that there's any guarantee that things will get better.
  2. i missed the game last week because i absolutely had to get some work done, and i missed this week because i took my daughter to disney live. at first i was so annoyed that i missed 2 games in a row for this first time ever, and now i think it was a blessing. i didn't even watch the recorded saints game, and i almost made it through a half of yesterday's game. it's just too hard to watch this level of football again. i think i'm completely checked out.
  3. he has the potential to be elite, but isn't a elite wr at all. there's a huge difference there. he never put up elite #'s here during the course of a season. we all wanted it too, but it didn't. i'm fine with watkins not putting up big numbers in la, but again, you try to discount goff by saying he's, "not so accurate" in order to defend watkins. i'm not saying watkins can put up numbers, but apparently he needs to be in the perfect situation, of which buffalo wasn't. you expected a big year and expected the bills would have had to pay him. that's fine. history and situation shows that likely wouldn't have happened, (even though you convinced yourself it would). so what if watkins put up below 1000 yards (again) and wanted to get paid? he's gone and would likely want to go to a team with a stable qb. the bills would have gotten nothing for him. finally, do you really think that if watkins just stays healthy, he's going to get #1 money? i'm not even sure he's going to be retained by la next year, healthy or not.
  4. would you guys think more of me if i started referring to myself as lil teef?
  5. i think you nailed it.
  6. the team never said they were tanking, but it was obvious that they wanted to get something for guys that weren't going to be here next year. there wasn't much to expect from this roster, but so what? what has this roster done for us lately. shake it up, and bring in their own guys to see if it works. if anything you should be pleased that they actually accomplished some success with what they have. i still have zero idea why you expected a big year from watkins, especially with tt as the qb. watkins has never had a "big year" and i doubt he would have here this year as well. you seem to think if sammy was on this team, things would have been different. i just don't see it.
  7. remember when the seahawks did it years ago with 7-9? did that win their division?
  8. 1972...just because someone doesn't agree with your opinion, it doesn't mean they have blind loyalty to a staff. we share different views on watkins, but i don't dislike him as a wr. i just thought he'd put up pedestrian numbers yet again here, and would likely be gone in the off season. at least they got a second round pick. with taylor, i always appreciated him, but we all knew that unless he wow'ed everyone this year, he's also gone. i'm meh to putting peterson in, but if they know tyrod won't be the guy next year, move on from him...and no...tyrod's lousy play isn't just because watkins isn't here. we've seen it before, and we'll see it again. try to not be so emotional about it.
  9. i don't expect much either. it's almost unfair to him to do so. we know that tt isn't the future at this point, so they might as well develop peterman, see what they have in him, and still draft a qb next year. the qb position needs love here.
  10. i would never hit myself.
  11. oh i know, and it still makes me want to punch walls.
  12. meh. the op also feels that goff isn't anywhere near the qb tt is, so i'm not reading too much into this.
  13. i honestly may try to develop some kind of rash to avoid this thing.
  14. i'm just going to steal this from you. this seems right for a first time start. anything over this is a bonus for me.
  15. i wasn't able to watch the game last week, and since this is a later game, i just realized that i won't be able to watch the game, (live at least) this sunday. i actually get very interested to watch, and disney live !@#$s it all up.
  16. this is the truth. my wife does orange theory too and loves it. the one by us is so popular, they're opening another. it's this time you year that working out becomes critical. it hasn't gotten bad yet, but by that february/march time, there's been so much dark and cold that the seasonal depression sets in. if i don't work out, i get whacky.
  17. i learned something today! i'm at work, so i haven't heard the audio, but i love me a good m!@#$ accent.
  18. i know it's a strange thing to complain about, but it's such a zoo that it takes away from it for me. that being said, i wouldn't farm it out at this point. we having about 34 this year, so it's tempered back. forever house...i just wanted to say that again because it irks some people.
  19. at work i can't do anything about it. just put on the happy face and act as pleasant as possible. when i get home i'll just have a drink and hang out with the family. as i've gotten older, i've become pretty good as just leaving the nonsense at work. every year it's a little easier to do.
  20. what in the world is a forever door? yes. i'm 40, and this house is !@#$ing it. also yes.
  21. i don't like tolbert either, but most of us weren't absurd enough to cry again and again and again about a back up rb leaving. you did.
  22. his play was coming on? i don't feel that was the case at all. he's always going to take up space, but beside that, he was doing nothing impressive. my point is you don't have a reason for making some of the claims you make. if the bills held onto dareus until the end of the season, most teams knew he was going to be cut, and would have traded nothing. the bills were able to save some money, and grab a pick. it would have been nice to have dareus, but i think most realize that he isn't the piece that's putting this team into the playoffs. does he help? sure. is he worth it? eh.
  23. don't tell scott that. in the beginning of the season he just wouldn't shut up about losing gillislee. in fact, he was stating the bills were in full rebuild mode because they didn't re-sign him.
