  1. 1972...just because someone doesn't agree with your opinion, it doesn't mean they have blind loyalty to a staff. we share different views on watkins, but i don't dislike him as a wr. i just thought he'd put up pedestrian numbers yet again here, and would likely be gone in the off season. at least they got a second round pick. with taylor, i always appreciated him, but we all knew that unless he wow'ed everyone this year, he's also gone. i'm meh to putting peterson in, but if they know tyrod won't be the guy next year, move on from him...and no...tyrod's lousy play isn't just because watkins isn't here. we've seen it before, and we'll see it again. try to not be so emotional about it.
  2. i don't expect much either. it's almost unfair to him to do so. we know that tt isn't the future at this point, so they might as well develop peterman, see what they have in him, and still draft a qb next year. the qb position needs love here.
  3. i would never hit myself.
  4. oh i know, and it still makes me want to punch walls.
  5. meh. the op also feels that goff isn't anywhere near the qb tt is, so i'm not reading too much into this.
  6. i honestly may try to develop some kind of rash to avoid this thing.
  7. i'm just going to steal this from you. this seems right for a first time start. anything over this is a bonus for me.
  8. i wasn't able to watch the game last week, and since this is a later game, i just realized that i won't be able to watch the game, (live at least) this sunday. i actually get very interested to watch, and disney live !@#$s it all up.
  9. this is the truth. my wife does orange theory too and loves it. the one by us is so popular, they're opening another. it's this time you year that working out becomes critical. it hasn't gotten bad yet, but by that february/march time, there's been so much dark and cold that the seasonal depression sets in. if i don't work out, i get whacky.
  10. i learned something today! i'm at work, so i haven't heard the audio, but i love me a good m!@#$ accent.
  11. i know it's a strange thing to complain about, but it's such a zoo that it takes away from it for me. that being said, i wouldn't farm it out at this point. we having about 34 this year, so it's tempered back. forever house...i just wanted to say that again because it irks some people.
  12. at work i can't do anything about it. just put on the happy face and act as pleasant as possible. when i get home i'll just have a drink and hang out with the family. as i've gotten older, i've become pretty good as just leaving the nonsense at work. every year it's a little easier to do.
  13. what in the world is a forever door? yes. i'm 40, and this house is !@#$ing it. also yes.
  14. i don't like tolbert either, but most of us weren't absurd enough to cry again and again and again about a back up rb leaving. you did.
  15. his play was coming on? i don't feel that was the case at all. he's always going to take up space, but beside that, he was doing nothing impressive. my point is you don't have a reason for making some of the claims you make. if the bills held onto dareus until the end of the season, most teams knew he was going to be cut, and would have traded nothing. the bills were able to save some money, and grab a pick. it would have been nice to have dareus, but i think most realize that he isn't the piece that's putting this team into the playoffs. does he help? sure. is he worth it? eh.
  16. don't tell scott that. in the beginning of the season he just wouldn't shut up about losing gillislee. in fact, he was stating the bills were in full rebuild mode because they didn't re-sign him.
  17. you just don't want to understand that there's logic behind that trade. it may not work out for jacksonville is dareus goes back to old form and gets paid for putting in a third of the work. earlier you mentioned that the bills should have kept dareus until the end of the year, where his value would have been higher. why do you think his value would have been higher then?
  18. common sense is scott's kryptonite.
  19. i'd have a tough time believing that anyone promised the pegulas the team would be competitive this season. i think we all knew, especially after the trades, that it wasn't so much about this season, (or even next). i assume the pegulas and staff see this as a long term project, and any success this year was more or less lucky.
  20. and we're all sure you do scott.
  21. i'm going to be very upset is this team doesn't draft a qb somewhat high this coming draft.
  22. did they? other than dareus, who are you really sad to see go?
  23. i hate everything about this thread.
