  1. i wonder if he's just running around his office screaming, "ca-ching! ca-ching!"
  2. i have far less of a problem with that for some reason. i also hate when water fountains are called bubblers.
  3. i called it pop until i went to college and everyone made fun of me. i got them back though. who calls sprinkles jimmies?
  4. are you trying to get me to fly of the handle?
  5. i'm really starting to hate the chaos that this place stands for.
  6. scary and nice are an awesome combo. it's the sweet and sour of the people world.
  7. if this team doesn't go all in at a rb in the first, i'm coming out swinging.
  8. where did the stereotype that all italians are sexy love machines? who know, but sometimes these things hold truth.
  9. dim lighting with candles. likely some aroma therapy. possibly rose pedals. you know the schtick.
  10. were you soaking in the tub with another man when you had this?
  11. it's already mixed, and you really don't need to add more. i'm someone who likes to taste the booze in a mixed drink, and this nog doesn't disappoint. it has a kick to it.
  12. i mentioned this in a thread yesterday. sure zay has had his share of drops, but a ton of the time when the ball is thrown his way, it's completely off target. i'm not sure if his route running plays a big part, but i'm certain the qb play does.
  13. it's just at the point that some posters will complain until this team goes deep into the playoffs. why have a normal conversation when you can do nothing but B word? this isn't going to be a quick process most likely, so i'm at least going to observe and see what is trying to be built here.
  14. this is well put.
  15. the only thing that wasn't broken was the offense, and that was still pretty suspect. i'm not sure how long that would have been sustainable. other than watkins, there were no real losses. i know the run game has been damaged, but at some point i always felt this team has to move on from a managing qb and really turn this into an offense that can move the ball around. i think this is all part of it. i'm not willing to call any of these decisions dumb yet. it mostly depends on what happens in the off season to begin to determine if any of these moves were smart. if things weren't broken, this team wouldn't be in that 6-8 win territory year after year. i don't get why some people are so afraid to change this up. it needs to happen.
  16. you're in no way here to have a conversation. literally all you do is cry in the worst way. it's almost like you don't want this team to improve so you can continually bleed your bitter heart out on this board. jesus. no one is saying that this team is going to light it up next year either, but most are expecting to draft and grab a few guys in fa so we can start to see the ultimate plan. i expect the staff to draft a qb and build the lines. it will be a young team next year too, and there's going to be growing pains. you're going to learn to find out how to deal with this, because unless something magical happens, i doubt it's a quick turn around. that's my take on it. i'm sure you won't agree, and will just spit out the same tired nonsense instead of having a normal conversation. quit being so pathetic. life is too short.
  17. i'm not even saying this to defend jones, but when some of the balls are thrown his way, they're so off the mark it's not funny. i think it's great that he's a regular target, but whether it's how he runs routes vs qb play, it would be nice to see the ball more in his general territory.
  18. maybe it's an italian thing? every year one of these pieces of garbage shows up. on top of that, someone went out of their way to get one, because as far as i know, it's not something you'd find unless you were at a bakery.
  19. i know it's a bit off topic, but while we're on bread, can we talk about how terrible easter bread is? every damn year i try some thinking i'm going to like it, and every year i'm just a bit more disappointed in myself for thinking so.
  20. or we should at least see what direction this team wants to take this team in. to me this year is just a throw away. once they get their qb and a young core, i think we'll have a much better idea. i'm not saying, or am convinced this will work, but to act like this team is some finished product that the staff wanted is just simple.
  21. good post. this is where i'm at with it too.
  22. drafting higher definitely helps, but i agree with you. it's not where you pick but who you pick. that being said, i think this year is does matter much more where you pick, especially if the goal is to trade up in one of top positions. i don't know why people are being so dense about this. people keep saying we've "replaced" players, when that hasn't been done yet. this year was a purge year, and the build up begins this off season.
