  1. at the moment, i was pretty bent out of shape by the pick.
  2. how in the world did you get kicked in the face? and how do this have anything to do with what we were talking about?
  3. this is exactly where i'm at with it. i've been pleasantly surprised.
  4. in high school i could just about do it, but at 41, there's no way. i weeded and trimmed hedges yesterday, and my back hurts.
  5. meh...that's not that hard to be.
  6. he kinda looks up to me. don't let him fool you.
  7. the one thing i've learned as i've gotten older, is to not tell anyone, anything until they absolutely have to know, or you're 100% certain.
  8. i was trying to watch this, and it literally froze on the last analysis where the guy had allen at 1. why does life hate the bills?!
  9. they certainly don't have it easy. i do hope the browns do well though. that fan base deserves something to be excited about.
  10. i think people are paying attention, but it's still fair to say the brown are the browns until they rack up more than 2-3 wins, (which i think they can easily do). just like the bills, the browns have to show they can put it all together.
  11. well...now that this thread is merged, my quote makes no sense.
  12. I’m very meh about this.
  13. I heard he changed his name from Goldman. Is that true?
  14. this is a great one. this is absolutely something to positive about. i agree.
  15. i was the exact same way. in my late teens/early 20s, i'd take a loss to heart and be furious about it. it would ruin my day, and god forbid anyone spoke bad about the bills. i'm soon to be 41, and that just doesn't fit into my life anymore. i tend not to worry about things that are out of my control. the bills are one of them. the moment i find myself being annoyed by this team, i take a step back. life is too crazy to let this team upset you. others seem to make a hobby of it.
  16. are you kidding me? there will always be those one or two people, but i think overall most fans held it in the same regard. do you realize that you're the same, over the top, zealous poster, but just on the negative side? while "fanboys" as you like to call them can't/won't admit any wrong doing by this staff, we have you who refuses to acknowledge any positive that has happened. you don't even realize it, but you're just as bad as they are. you love to be down. it's who you are as a person, and that's ok. i personally don't get it, but it's certainly your right. let's try something...i'd like you to say something positive about this team or staff.
  17. it's amazing how some fans are already trying to discount the playoff berth. of course the bills needed help to get in, but who cares? it was still the playoffs for the first time in forever, and some fans just want to tear it down. why? was it not as special or fun for them? i'm not a fan of that mentality.
  18. thank you for the kind words, and i think your second paragraph really nails it. we are in the zone of the unexpected as fans right now. there's so many new pieces with new systems, that coming up with a hard prediction this year is tough. i certainly don't expect the bills to go to the playoffs, but i also don't think this year is a disaster. it's a learning year, and any positive that comes from it is a bonus. the unexpected is fun for me because may lead to success. life is hard enough with work, kids, sick family, etc. football has always been fun for me, whether it be playing or watching. i'm not about to change that to shield disappointment from a less than average season.
