  1. i find that's a life thing, not necessarily having to do with football.
  2. so...do people just enjoy getting together and acting like sad sacks in a thread like this? what's the appeal here? i remember the browns being in a similar situation a few years ago, (minus having the qb in place) and everyone saying they would love to be in that position. well...here we are. i don't know how this will turn out, but i think we all had a fairly good idea this was coming. i didn't think it would be this bad, but still not a shocker.
  3. this is a good question.
  4. But still isn’t quite ahead of the floss. Give it time.
  5. The cool thing to do would have been retiring at halftime.
  6. it's a patience issue, and i get it. i don't want to sit through a bunch of losses this year, but we all knew it was coming, and instead of getting excited to B word about it, i'm just dealing with it like an adult. we're all here for the ride. i don't know if it will actually improve this team in the future, but unfortunately this is part of it.
  7. it is a little much that people keep going here. the ravens certainly didn't back off in the second half of that game. the bills improved somewhat in the second half of the chargers game. it's ok to see that happen and not **** all over it.
  8. yes. more tds would be nice. it might take a rookie qb developing to see more of those.
  9. not at all. i don't expect many wins, but as others have mentioned, i do at least expect this team to put up a fight. it seemed to happen a bit in the second half yesterday, so i'd like to see if it carries over.
  10. some fan are absolutely loving this.
  11. same here. what happens this season really doesn't phase me at all. just let the young guys develop.
  12. two games in and people are already impatient with rookies. awesome.
  13. Development is going to take time and that’s ok. Rich Gannon gave such a great analogy to being a new qb. He equated it to being a new driver. At first, you’re just so concerned with the car in front of you. After a while, you start noticing the car in front and back of you. As time goes on, you notice the car getting ready to turn left, the pedestrian crossing the road, and are anticipating what the traffic around you is doing. It takes game time/driving time to figure it out.
  14. i was still on!
  15. connect the dots bitches. connect the dots.
  16. i hope you guys don't talk about me like this when i'm not here.
  17. Back in my day, sending pictures of your junk was shocking enough. No more...
  18. i'm pretty sure this is how my family would react if i had a sudden heart attack.
  19. i think the last time i was at a game where the unis were all white, was the one buffalo game where the pegulas were introduced as the new owners. we played the jets. we got beat up.
  20. now there's a reason to watch...
  21. it's certainly a combination of both, but i think i was mostly let down by coaching. this team looked completely unprepared on sunday. i get that personnel is part of that reason, but this team was lost. as i mentioned in another thread, the ravens game reminded me of the opener against the jets 6 years ago, (i'm pretty sure gailey was the coach). fitz was in his second season and we were all prepared for a strong year. they completely laid an egg. it just had the same feel.
