Well... I know there’s lots of time left but so far it’s looking like we will be playing the Chiefs. It’s Going to be a damn tough game.

It’s undeniable now: The Bills are one of the 4 best teams in the NFL this season, and they are one game away from playing in the Super Bowl. I would say that’s the definition of a “Super Bowl contender”.

Total class act! Lamar seems like a great guy.

He should be. What a brilliant game plan + play calling tonight. I really think he could be a good fit for the Texans. They need a calming, stabilizing presence. And I’m sure he’s adapted since his last head coaching gig. I’d hate to lose him though. Especially if we lose Daboll too. But I would be super happy for Frazier. I know he really wants another shot at being a head coach.

Leslie Frazier deserves more attention for head coaching vacancies. What a game plan on defense. He called a great game too! AFC championship game here we come!!!!! Feels a bit surreal.

Justin Tucker, the most reliable kicker in the NFL, is struggling in this wind. I’m willing to cut Bass some slack on that kick.

Exactly. The play calling on that drive was aggravating. I just hope we don’t go into safe/prevent mode on defense too. Keep doing what’s been successful please.

Same here. Especially with this brutal wind. Allen hasn’t really even been close on a deep ball so far tonight. I was hoping to see them just keep moving the ball and kill the clock on that drive.

Hockey has always been my #1 sport. I played for more than 1/2 my life. I almost never miss a Sabres game. Even during the tank years I watched every game. But yeah, this team is stealing my love for the game and I find myself losing interest more and more each season. I missed hockey so much and I’m already getting depressed about the Sabres. I keep telling myself that they haven’t played in 300+ days. They’re rusty. There are 7 new guys in the lineup. Give them a chance, yada yada. But it’s hard not to immediately get flashbacks of all the losing of previous seasons and feel down in the dumps about the Sabres. All of the losing and incompetence had really taken its toll on me.

Defense looked really good (after the opening drive), especially when they were playing aggressive. The few times they played it safe they allowed big completions. Offense doesn’t look very good. Allen looks frustrated or something. He hasn’t really looked like MVP Allen yet. He just needs to settle in and play his game. Credit to Baltimore’s defense though. They’re playing very good too. Neither offense could get anything going in the first half. Hopefully buffalo can get something going on offense to start the 2nd half!

They played a good game but just couldn’t get it done. I thought they played better than the caps for large stretches. Ullmark didn’t play bad or anything but Goaltending was the difference tonight. Their goalie was better than ours. I hope that isn’t a common theme again this year. Aggravating to start the season with 2 straight losses. They have to get a win next game. The season is too short to lose bunches of games in a row. No time to make it up. It is January though. Maybe I should’ve expected the losses? 😂
