I agree that many college QBs fail because they’re set up to fail by the teams that draft them. Also agree that the Patriots know how to put a QB in position to have success (better than most teams do, if not all). Not sure I agree that you can’t teach a player how to process what they’re seeing faster. We see QBs improve on that all the time. Look at Josh Allen from year 1 to 2 to 3. We see a lot of young QBs come into the NFL and have trouble getting through their reads, only to improve over time. Even the best QBs improved at more quickly processing what they see over time. I watched Tom Brady greatly improve at it over the years. Some of it just comes down to experience with NFL defensive looks and film study (etc). Now obviously not every QB can improve in that area. Many never do. But it is an area of common improvement for many starting NFL QBs IMO. I do think that Mac Jones appears to be way ahead of the curve at processing what he’s seeing as a rookie. Is it at a special level? I think that’s TBD. I have no issue saying that I’m worried about how good this kid is going to be. I hate that he fell right into NE’s lap, especially without even having to trade up! 🤬 😂. He’s such a perfect fit for your team and looks like he could be really good for many years to come. As a rookie he’s already the 2nd best QB in the AFCE. Im really anxious to see how he does against the Bills defense. They’re excellent at disguising coverage. It’ll be a good test for Jones, and the Bills too. The battle for the AFCE this year could be really intense between the Bills and Pats. Should be interesting for sure.

Yeah, or if he’s asymptomatic or has a very mild case. He’s need 2 negative tests 24 hours apart and would also have to be symptom free for 48 hours (so basically if he’s symptom free tomorrow and Saturday + tests negative those 2 days he can play Sunday). Definitely a long shot for Sunday if he actually had covid, even if vaxxed. But if he’s not vaccinated, he’s very likely out for next Thursday’s game too. (minimum 10 days). Unless he’s unvaxxed and was just deemed a close contact of a covid positive (5 days out) but I’m doubtful that’s the case because nobody new went on the covid protocol list yesterday afaik. Regardless of vaccine status, I just hope he’s ok. I hope he has a very mild case (if he actually had covid) and feels better soon.

Man I sure hope he can be cleared to play by Sunday. Bills need him desperately. If he’s vaccinated he has a chance. If not, unfortunately we know for sure he’s out for (at least) the next 2 games (10 days from today, minimum).

I was just thinking about this yesterday. Pretty cool that We got the best QB from the 2018 class and he was the 3rd QB off the board. The 2 best QBs in that class were the 3rd and 5th QBs taken.

yeah I don’t think we’ll be hearing much about the legend of “Mike f’n White” this week... 😂 I watched some of the Jets programs on the SNY channel this past week, just to see what they were saying about the Bills, and all they talked about was “the legend of Mike f****** white” and how he’s given Jets fans hope. No he never had it this summer. He was a close contact of a covid positive case during training camp and had to be placed in that 5 day quarantine protocol but he tested negative for covid and was back in 5 days.

The one thing Krebs has working in his favor is that his entry level contract already kicked in. He played over 9 NHL games this season. So there’s no fear of burning a year off his ELC like there would be with Quinn and Peterka. So I could see him getting more games in Buffalo because of that. I’m also fine with leaving him in Rochester for the year, or at least most of it.

Yeah without a doubt! The power play has really been struggling without them (Olofsson especially). Why do the Sabres seem to struggle with injuries every year?

Yes, you can only get the 4k broadcast by streaming it via the fox sports app. I know what you mean about not being able to just flip through the channels. It’s definitely a minor inconvenience. I found a work around though. I have an external streaming device that plugs into the Tv (fire stick 4k) so What I do to flip between channels is just hit the input button on the remote and it takes me back to the last channel 8 was watching on cable, and I hit it again to go back to the game stream. This would only work with an external streaming device though, not the internal apps on the TV. The only Bills game being broadcast in 4k this season is the upcoming Thursday night game on Nov. 25th.

That would be great! as of now the games on ESPN + aren’t in 4k. Hopefully that would change if they land Sunday ticket. Right now the only one broadcasting NFL games in 4k is the fox sports app for Thursday night broadcasts (currently watching the game in 4k now!)

Titans looking a lot better than I thought they would without Henry. I think we can pretty much forget about the #1 seed. Too many AFC teams playing as good or better than the Bills. Titans and Ravens both looking better than Buffalo for sure. I think it’s a battle between them for the division ATM. I honestly think it’s going to be a battle to just win the division. Patriots are getting better every week. They’re going to give the Bills a fight. Buffalo need to get their **** together quick and make sure they win the AFCE or they could actually potentially miss the playoffs all together.

Looks like a catch to me and I see nothing that should overturn the ruling on the field. But with how brutal the refs have been I expect them to screw us again.
