  1. pretty cool. It sounds like the black & red goat head will be their 3rd jersey and they will also have a retro jersey that’s blue & gold with the goat head.
  2. Honestly, That’s exactly how I felt too when my cousin told me about it years back. I kept waiting for him to tell me it got shut down. But I keep checking with him every so often and I just asked him again about it a few weeks ago and he’s still using it without any issues. Like I said, this is at least year 4 now. I actually got the chance to see it in person a few weeks back and I was really impressed with the vast amount of content it offers. He was showing me how you get a channel for every NFL team. It looked pretty cool. He had every premium movie channel. PPV events. A ridiculous amount of sports channels. And the app seemed easy enough to use/navigate. I still haven’t signed up for it myself but I am really debating trying it and ditching cable if it works out. I know he said he gets the Bills games. Next time I talk to him I can ask him if he gets the Bills games that are broadcast on CBS.
  3. My cousin uses a service called “eye stream TV” that he swears by. You get every NFL game for every team, as well as every other sporting event (MLB, NBA, NHL, college football, etc) and every other channel including the premium movie channels (like HBO, Cinemax, Starz, Epix, Showtime, etc) and even paper-view events. All for like $40/month. I was really skeptical of this service but he’s been using it for a good 4-5 years now without issue. https://www.eyestreamtv.net/channels you do need a streaming device to use the service. But it’s pretty easy. You just download their app and it contains all the channels.
  4. hopefully last year wasn’t a fluke and he’s able to live up to this contract. This is definitely a gamble but if Thompson continues to play like last season this contract could look pretty good in a couple years, especially if the cap rises significantly after 2023 as Bill Daly mentioned. If he struggled and/or reverts back to what he was before last season, this contract could become quite the albatross.
  5. It may have already been mentioned but the Patriots released Malcolm Butler.
  6. I feel like it would be stupid to sign a punter before Tuesday’s cuts. Might as well wait and see who’s available, and maybe be able to keep an extra player or at least have a better chance at sneaking someone onto the practice squad.
  7. I’m glad Josh is only at #13 because It’s probably going to piss him off. He should’ve been top 10 easily, and probably top 5. I’ll take any little bit of extra motivation we can get! 😂
  8. I agree. I can understand where the Bills were coming from with this and I think, for the most part, they handled it ok. Did they handle it perfectly? Maybe not, but it’s hard to say without knowing more details. I’d say they handled it about as best they could. And Beane + McDermott have built up enough goodwill with me. I know how important character is to them. This is NOT even remotely close to the Browns situation, where they traded for a guy knowing he was facing 24 civil lawsuits. The Bills didn’t know about any of this before he was drafted. They’ve only known about it for less than a month. And in the time between the draft and a month ago they had gotten to know Araiza, as did the players on the team and by all accounts he was well liked. Then about a month ago they learned that Araiza could be facing a civil suit some time in the future and learned of the highlights of the claim which they then started investigating for themselves. Araiza and his reps told one story, the accusers lawyer obviously told another. They tried to verify for themselves. They didn’t want to just dump Araiza before trying to learn more. But then a very public suit was filed and that obviously changed things. I don’t know how widely this was shared among the rest of the team before the suit was filed. I’m assuming Beane and McDermott probably kept it relatively private. So this went from a (most likely) relatively private matter to every Bills player, coach, wife, girlfriend, etc. as well as the team owners and bills fans all knowing every detail of the accusation. I can understand why they were initially willing to let things play out more. How would it have looked if they cut Araiza back at the beginning of august without even bothering to fact check, despite him claiming he was innocent? Especially when he was outperforming Haack. But I also understand why they were no longer willing to let things play out and I think that was the right call. This seems to have had an effect on the team as evidenced by their performance against Carolina. I also think they were being honest when they said this is what’s best for Araiza. Imagine having to face the press and the fans with all of this going on. This is a very serious matter. It needs to be handled before his NFL career can continue (and maybe it won’t…).
  9. Sounds like ford had a bit of an attitude/entitlement issue last season. sounds like he’s taking the coaching much better this year and starting to figure things out. It would be great if he could develop into a starter for us!
  10. Just wait until you have to deal with the athletic’s (completely non-existent) customer service… you might change your tune then. There is no way to even talk to a live person. If their email bot can’t figure out what you’re asking you are SOL. I had a payment issue once and it was a total nightmare. I ended up eventually re-subscribing but only because I got a deal for $10 for the year. I’d never even think about spending anything near full price on the athletic. IMO their Buffalo coverage isn’t as good as it used to be. It was a lot better when the athletic first came out.
  11. Yeah that’s really my only (minor) complaint so far today.
  12. The starting offense looked pretty darn good! Picking up right where they left off. They look like they are going to be a big problem for the opposing defense each week! 😁
  13. I don’t know. I was mainly just basing my post on the premise of this thread. Sounds like Elam has been up and down in camp. Like I said in another response, we won’t really know anything until the regular season hits and we see how both do.
  14. Yeah it’s probably too soon to judge. Let’s see how the rest of the preseason goes. Ultimately what matters is how they play in the regular season anyway. And Elam has been going against the 1’s most of camp. I don’t know if Benford has too? If not, that also matters.
  15. yes, he was. I never said benford couldn’t be a good CB because he was a late pick. I’m just saying that ideally you want your 1st round picks playing better than your late round picks from the same draft. Do you disagree? edit - just to be clear I’m not writing off Elam either. I think he will be fine in the long run. He’s transitioning from man to zone.
  16. Oh no. 😢 what tragic news. My heart goes out to Dawson and his family. I can’t even imagine what they’re going through right now. My condolences to them.
  17. I tried to Google it but came up empty.
  18. That’s not a real quote, is it @Draconator? I’m assuming it’s just a joke
  19. Isn’t he the one who has been unwilling to negotiate a new contract? The ravens have been trying to get one done for over a year but have had trouble getting Jackson to engage in discussions. Now suddenly there’s a hard deadline? https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/03/06/lamar-jacksons-failure-to-engage-ravens-points-to-awkward-outcome-for-everyone/
  20. Damn, shakir looks like he’s going to be a good one!
