I have such a nervous stomach ache... I don't know why. It's not like I'm not used to being disappointed by these Buffalo sports teams! lol Glad we are all in this together, though!

Interesting that this report came out like 15 mins after the report that the Bills were the only team left actively looking to trade up. Hopefully it's just a ploy by the Giants to try and drive up the price...

May not even be worth it if this happens. if Darnold, Rosen and Mayfield are all gone by 3 then I don't know that I'd give up picks to move up for Allen. Too big a risk IMO.

Ugh... Whatever happens, happens though. It's out of our control. Thankfully it'll all be over soon! I am hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Trying to prepare myself for disappointment just in case. It at least brings me some comfort that we (Bills fans) are all in this together! Whatever happens I know many others will be feeling my joy/pain.

Not me. I've said all along that it would take both 1sts, both 2nds and both 3rds this year to match what the Jets gave up to go to 3.

I have said the same thing myself. Is Barkley, even though he looks to be a great RB, really worth 2 or 3 pobetial 1st rounders + more (2nds, 3rds etc). I think they are nuts if they choose a RB over 4-5(+) top 60-90 picks, especially if their plan is to try and go for it with Eli in his last year's.

This is exactly what I was thinking too. They've been so linked to Mayfield for so long now. I even read that their OC is already starting to install plays from Oklahoma in his playbook for Mayfield (who knows if it's true though). Its just strange that all the sudden starting the day before the draft all this stuff starts coming out about how they want Rosen. You pretty much hadn't heard him connected to the Jets at all until yesterday. Well, at least this is what I'm telling myself so I don't freak out any more than I already am... lol.

I definitely have a ton more confidence and faith in this current staff than I've had in a long, long time. But im still sweating bullets about the first round of the draft tonight, because the Bills can only control so much, and sitting at 12 isn't the ideal spot to get one of the QBs all of us want so desperately. I am am confident that everything will work out in the long run though, no matter what happens tonight.

I hope he's right about the trade up. Just not for Allen, who he said earlier this offseason (IIRC) that he would target if he were the Bills

I don't really see these tweets as an issue. Still dont want him, unless the other top 3 are gone and we can get him at 12. But that has everything to do with his play on the field and nothing to do with the tweets.

Yesterday they were making a late push for Rosen... I think they may just be trying to throw teams off their scent (Mayfield). id be thrilled if the Jets actually took Allen though! lol

I will give him the benefit of the doubt, but I will absolutely think that he just took a huge gamble. The way I feel is if he trades up for a guy like Darnold or Rosen and they bust, you can much more easily justify the risk Beane took because they are the top rated QBs and their play on the field (+ their stats) backs that up. Allen is a much bigger risk. There really is no precedent for taking a QB with Allen's underlying stats in the top 5. If Beane trades up for Allen and he busts, it should put his job in jeopardy. Where as if he trade up for Darnold/Rosen and they don't work out, I think he deserve another swing. Just my opinion anyway.

Just like Beane said yesterday that he is planning on picking at #12. No way a smart smart coach or GM is going to give away any bit of leverage by saying "yeah we want/expect to trade down/up". Why would they say that and tip their hand? This is a giant poker game. If the Giants want to trade down, they want to get as much h as possible, and the way to do that is to make the other team think you are staying put, in order to get them to up the offer.

I don't buy that the Bills have josh Allen ahead of josh Rosen. Too much stuff points to Rosen over Allen imo. I think allen is their #3 or #4 QB behind at least Darnold and Rosen.

I hear you on that. I severely injured my knee years ago. Comp,etely tore my ACL and MCL. I also tore a large chunk out of my meniscus (which is basically what separates the knee bones) and chipped a piece of bone off. I was was supposed to have surgery to correct it but a whole bunch of stuff happened and I never got the surgery. Needless to say my knee has never been the same and any type of strenuous physical activity causes quite a bit of pain.
