  1. The people I mentioned were ordering them from some internet site. I have no idea if shroom tech can have any of the same effects as whatever nootropics the people i mentioned we're taking, though. The people i mentioned were not taking them as workout supplements or anything. They were taking other nootropics that are supposed to be meant for improving brain function and numerous other things (energy, anxiety, mood etc).
  2. They are a workout supplement. But they are also considered a "nootropic" drug, or "smart drug" to improve cognitive function. I know of (and know) people who took numerous different nootropic supplements and had bad reactions. A friend of a friend was pretty out of his mind for a while on some of those nootropic supplements (I can't remember the names of the ones he was taking, it wasn't shroom tech though). They can do some really weird things I guess. It wouldn't surprise me at all if that was part of Richie's problem.

  4. Since we are talking about PlayStation, you've gotta mention some of their exclusive titles... -> Horizon Zero Dawn - one of the best games I've ever played. Highly recommend checking it out. This game was one of the main reasons I bought a PS4 when I already had an Xbox One. -> Nier:Automata - another great PS4 exclusive. The more I played it the more I loved it. Definitely recommend playing it. -> Uncharted (series) - one of the first PS4 games I played and I really enjoyed it. I bought the Uncharted collection used at GameStop (Uncharted 1, 2 & 3 on the same disc) for pretty cheap. The story line in these game are is top notch IMO. Puzzles are fun to solve and the gun battles get pretty epic (although drawn out at times). Worth playing for sure. Haven't got to #4 or5 yet but they're on my list. -> Killzone: Shadow Fall - another pretty good PS4 exclusive. This one wasn't as long as the others above but was still fun (if you like stealth and FPS) -> Nioh - I seen it mentioned and I personally thought Nioh was way too hard and frustrating. You die very easy and you have to start over from the last checkpoint and there is usually quite a distance between them. P,us you lose all your stuff and have to make it back to your body, and if you die on the way your hoard of gear is gone forever... Some (non PS4 exclusive) games that have been some of my favorites - -Grand Theft Auto 5 (a must play IMO) - Batman (entire Arkham series is great. Arkham Knight is the newest. You can buy the first 2 games for less than $20 in a package. It's called Batman Return to Arkham) - Fallout 4 - Watch Dogs 2 (great game. The original is a lot of fun too. Watch Dogs 2 is among my favorite games ever) - Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider (2 more of my favorites ever) - Assassin's Creed: Orgins (there have been lots of good AC games. Black Flag and a Rogue were 2 more favorites) - Far Cry 5 (Far Cry 3 is also a must play too IMO. The story and characters are amazing). - Dishonored and Dishonored 2 (if you like stealth games, with elements of BioShock in them (like the special powers you have)) - Dragon Age inquisition (great game, great story, takes a long time to play through) - Elder Scrolls Skyrim -Horizon zero Dawn and Nier Automata also belong on this list (as does Uncharted, although I'd maybe rank it a bit lower than the games above) - Sniper Elite 4 (the slow motion shots alone, where you watch your bullet rip through whatever major organ you hit makes this game worth buying/renting) - Borderlands 2 (belongs on any good game list) - South Park (both 'the stick of truth' and 'the fractured but whole' are fantastic games if you are a fan of the show. It makes you feel like you are really in an episode of South Park. So much fun!) - Red Dead Redemption (can't wait for RDR 2!!) That's all I got off the top of my head... lol Tip - GameStop has a return policy on used games. You can bring it back within 7 days no questions asked. Ive tried and returned/exchanged numerous games this way (and actually beat a couple games within the week and took them back). Kind of makes it risk free to try a game.
  5. It's really sad how many Tim Murray trades we have to say this about... It won't be a bust if Asplund develops. It won't be a total bust if Fasching turns into something good (as we watch McNabb play top minutes in the Cup final. lol) It won't be a total bust if Buffalo can hit on San Jose's 1st round pick (for Kane). It won't be a total bust if Robin Lehner can play better, or we are able to get a 3rd rounder for him (and then hit on that pick). Sadly, I believe that is pretty much every major Tim Murray trade but one (O'Reilly) I just depressed myself typing that. lol
  6. Not that this means anything, but I guess Pat Mahomes struggled at the start of OTAs in KC. But it sounds like they are throwing an awful lot at him on purpose to see what he's good at - http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000934448/article/patrick-mahomes-practice-struggles-dont-worry-reid It was a good read. Andy Reid is a smart coach. I think Mahomes likely has success under him.
  7. Kim confirms that the Sabres will draft Dahlin. Not that there was really any doubt, but it's still cool to hear her basically say it officially.
  8. Can't say I'm all that sad to see Bucky leaving... Now we just need Sully to request a buyout! Come on Sully, you know you want to. I wouldnt mind seeing Harrington leave either.
  9. 100% agree. Buffalo took the QB that needs more fine tuning but probably with the highest upside in the draft. It's not about who's best from day 1. I fully expect Josh Rosen to be the better QB to start. He is much further along in his development and much more polished than Allen is. If Rosen isn't better out the gate, it would be somewhat surprising. Its years 2, 3 and beyond that we hope Allen flys by him.
  10. Wow. If what this guy is saying is true, It really does sound like there is some type of mental health issue at play here. We have definitrly seen him acting irrational this offseason. And now this story... Richie seems to think the government is after him. That's not usually the mark of a mentally healthy individual. Hope he realizes that he does need help and then gets whatever help he needs.
  11. So I guess the Bills were not the team that offered a 2nd round pick for Foles after all?
  12. Wow. Wtf. I can see why the Bills probably don't want him anywhere near the team. He seems to be falling back to his old ways. I totally thought that this was just a joke until I read it in that TMZ article. lol
  13. I agree. I personally kind of think this might have been Richie's plan all along - to retire and cause a scene, then unretire knowing full well the Bills won't want him back (or would have already replaced him by then). Therefore forcing his release and allowing him to keep his bonus and sign a new contract elsewhere. My main point (in my previous response) was that I didn't believe the Bills were allowed to keep him on the reserve/retired list if he unretired. I wasn't 100% sure on that, though. But I believe that either way him unretiring probably forced the Bills hand. I don't know that they can just ban him from the building if he's under contract? I believe they probably had to either allow him to start practicing in Buffalo, or cut him?
  14. But can the Bills keep Richie on the reserve/retired list if he chose to unretire (which is what was reported)? Don't they have to take him off the list? Or no? I kind of thought that was why they released him - Richie was unretiring and the Bills didn't want him back in the clubhouse, so it kind of forced their hand. Maybe I just misunderstood things, though.
  15. Yeah, I know by far the most likely scenario is that we get their 2019 1st and 4th. But I can still hope that it instead somehow ends up being high 2020 1st and 3rd round picks. lol Juat glad we are at least getting a 1st no matter what now. I really thought Kane may decide to chase the money and lifestyle (especially with a team like Vegas (with tons of cap space) potentially interested in him, and his hometown Canucks too). Although for $7x7 I guess he didn't really have to go anywhere to chase the money! lol I am not sure another team would have offered him that kind of term.
  16. Sweet! So we get either their 2019 or 2020 1st round pick. My dream scenario is that they miss the playoffs by a hair next year and decide to keep it. Then they really struggle the following season and are forced to give Buffalo a top 10 pick! lol I know, very unlikely. But I can dream... Either way, at least we (hopefully) salvage something from that damn Kane trade.
  17. Damn. The BN Sabres coverage is going to suck if Harrington is the main guy writing for them now. Always like Vogl and (usually) enjoyed reading his stuff. Why couldnt Harrington, Sully, Bucky (etc) seek a voluntary buyout?! lol
  18. I was just coming here to post this. Love it! Losing Hunter is a big blow. They would have Noah Hanifin instead of Mitch Marner if not for him (not that Hanifin isn't a damn good young defenseman, but he hasn't been on Marner's level so far). The leafs wouldn't have a lot of the talent they do without Hunter. Now it's all up to Dubas... Itll be really interesting to see how he and Babcock work together, without Hunter & Lou (2 old school "hockey" people). Now its all on 32yr old Dubas to keep Babs from steamrolling right over him. In my opinion, this is the first real move that Shanahan has made (hiring Dubas) that opens him up for criticism. I mean, he had no real choice but to make a decision between hunter and Dubas (unless the kicked the can and kept Lou as GM a couple more years). But Time will tell if it was the right one.
  19. I would think that this makes it more likely Tavares re-signs in NY. I think if they hadn't made some sort of move at or above the GM, he would have been much more likely to leave. Glad Lou's not staying in Toronto though. Now allwe need is Mark Hunter to leave for another NHL team or return to the London Knights and I'll be damn happy! lol Hunter is so good at finding talent in the draft. Him leaving would be a big blow to Toronto IMO. I don't have as much faith in Kyle Dubas as others do. He hasn't really impressed me all that much yet. Yeah, he helped turn around I thought he got totally taken to school in that Kessel trade (Toronto is still retaining money on Kessel for 4 more years (7 total)), and that trade he made when he was running the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds was pretty questionable too. He traded 2 players and SEVEN draft picks to get a goalie - Jack Campbell - to play in front of Matt Murray (you know, the guy who was a huge reason the Penguins won back to back cups ... lol).
  20. I said all along that I didn't believe Richie was "retiring" for health reasons and that there was obviously more going on there. As I said before, if he had really retired for health reasons the Bills would have congratulated him on his NFL career, like they did with E. Wood. Not at all surprised Incognito unretired and forced the Bills hand. I figured this would happen. I just thought it'd happen around training camp.
  21. I can hear both words in the original recording. It just depends on what pitch you focus your ears on.
  22. Let me know if you have any more questions. I like discussing this kind of stuff.
  23. Ok. So # of HDMI ports shouldn't be an issue then. Sounds like you are only using 1 right now. Maybe 2 if you hook your receiver up via HDMI. Both of those TV's have at least 3 (not that you can't just buy an HDMI port anyway, if you needed more). I dont know th number of 4k HDMI ports those TV have. I didn't see it listed. As far as sxreen mirroring or streaming from an apple product, I don't know of any Sony, LG, Samsung TVs that do that'll hand (aony will mirror android IIRC). Apple isn't widely compatible with a lot of stuff. It's not that big a deal though. You can buy aftermarket products that will hook up to the TV. You have to get something like Apple TV (which has Apple AirPlay), or another similar device to hook up to your TV if you want to mirror wirelessly. Or you can just buy a cheap Digital AV adaptor (for like $15-$25) that plugs into your iPhone and connects to a HDMI port on the TV. You may also just be able to download a (DNLA) app right on the TV but I'm not sure on that. I know it can be done, but I'm not sure if you can on every TV, or if there's an app for Apple devices). Personally, for the price range of the TVs you listed, I would suggest one more along the lines of this - https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sony-65-class-led-x850e-series-2160p-smart-4k-uhd-tv-with-hdr/5748206.p?skuId=5748206 Its the same price but 65" instead of 70". You get quite a few more features though. It has a picture processor (the 690 does not) which is important because almost nothing is broadcast in 4k HD right now. What that processor does is upscale regular HD content to as close to 4K HD quality as it can. So it should make most of your TV content look better than a TV without the processor. And that is what Sony TVs are known for. They have the best processors in the industry. It also has "super bit mapping" which should give better sound quality, and a triluminous display which will give a wider spectrum of colors, and more natural shades of those colors. It has Google Chromecast built in, as well as Alexa voice enabled. And has something called miracast which allows you to mirror certain devices (not Apple though). But the 690 has miracast too. The 850 is just a much nicer tv compared to the 690 in my opinion. Here is the comparable Samsung TV (to the Sony 850). It is on clearance right now since it's last year's model. Same price as the Sony. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-65-class-led-mu8000-series-2160p-smart-4k-uhd-tv-with-hdr/5773800.p?skuId=5773800 best thing I can suggest is going to Best Buy or another store and comparing them in person. I don't suggest Walmart. I am not sure but I believe their Sony TVs are cheaper versions, or the Chinese knock offs. Best Buy has all the TVs on display. You may see that 55" LG OLED TV and decide you'd rather have a 55" with that type of picture quality. Or you may love the bigger Sony/Samsung. Most of the name brand TVs all put out a great product these days, so I doubt you'll go wrong with whatever you get.
