Hard to say he earned time with the 1’s over Nate or AJ tonight. Allen definitely showed flashes and oozes potential. But he looked like a rookie. There is absolutely no reason to rush him if AJ and/or Nate keep playing like they did. Give him time to develop. he could be something special. But he’s still raw.

Well, overall I am thrilled with tonight. AJ and Nate looked amazing. Allen looked like a rookie, but man what an arm. And some great flashes of his talent. But all in all, this game has left me excited.

Lots of rookie mistakes happening on offense and defense. Again, 100% expected though in preseason game 1.

Probably because of the media narrative before the draft. They were already so convinced of what he was by looking at the #’s and comp%. So they will look for reasons why they were right. It’s kind of human nature...

lol. I’m relaxed. Its still true though. They are a mess. But there’s a lot of young guys with little to no experience, so it’s expected. We will see how they look by preseason game #4. Hopefully some of them can step up and earn a spot on this team.

Our 3rd string defense is a mess. They look like they don’t even know where to line up, or what their assignment is half the time.

Well, I think it’s safe to say that the Bills still have to work on their depth a bit. 3rd string, on offense and defense, have not looked great so far.

Man, the QB got absolutely flattened. and it’s sitll a big completion. Come on secondary.

This #53 (Woodson-luster?) has no ball awareness.

So far, IMO, it looks like a 2 horse race at the moment between AJ and Nate. Josh looks good, but not yet ready IMO. Although tough to really judge him with this 3rd string offense. They’re not exactly playing well around him.

Very limited sample size, but Allen looks alright so far. You can definitely tell he is a rookie but that’s 100% expected.
