  1. weird how high he’s ranked for in game win probability for being so “pathetic” at it… What has he done here? Really? -he holds the best all-time winning percentage of any coach in Bills history -He broke a 17 year playoff drought his first season here. -Helped tear down and rebuilt this team from the ground up. -Built one of the best cultures in the NFL (according to the players). -Has only missed the playoffs once in 6 seasons and that was because it was year 1 of the rebuild. -He’s won the division 3 years in a row. In his 6 seasons here, he’s finished 1st in the division 3x, finished 2nd twice and 3rd once. -His defense have consistently ranked in the top of the league since he was hired, including being #1, #2 and #3. They’ve statistically been a top 6 defense every year but 1 (2020). -His offense have consistently ranked near the top of the NFL since 2020. -He put together the staff that drafted and developed Josh Allen. -He’s won 10 or more games in 4 of his 6 seasons here and won 13 games twice. The only time he ever finished without a winning record was the rebuild year. The Bills have started out the past 4 season with a 4-1 or better record. What other Bills head coach has accomplished more since the super bowl era began? Marv Levy maybe? McDermott has a better record but no Super Bowls. Levy had way more talent to work with though. McDermott may not have made it past the AFC championship game yet. But the only reason we are even a contender is because of what he put together here. It’s amazing how much our standards have been raised to even be able to say something like “what has McDermott done here?”…
  2. Crap. I was really hoping Buffalo would hire Wilks to replace Frazier. He was the guy McDermott originally wanted to be his DC when he was first hired but Carolina promoted him to keep him. I thought with him available maybe there was a chance McDermott would move on from Frazier for him. Didn’t Miami already hire Fangio and make him the NFL’s highest paid coordinator? What am I missing? Did the deal fall through? edit - never mind I see now the deal wasn’t finalized yet.
  3. I was wondering when he would start getting OC interviews. Not surprised John Harbaugh is the first one to do so. Really hoping we don’t lose him!
  4. https://www.nhl.com/sabres/team/dear-buffalo-dahlin letter to Sabres fans from Rasmussen Dahlin.😍 I love that these young guys are finally getting to experience what Buffalo Sabres fans are truly like. They’ve been hearing about how great we are for years and years now, but they rarely ever got to actually experience it. Now that the team is playing so good and winning back the fan base they finally get to see what a hockey crazed town this is. Oh I so wish they make the playoffs this year and get the full experience!
  5. Maybe I’ll feel differently by the start of next season but as of now I’m kind of at the point where I feel like we’ve gone as far as we can with Frazier as DC. I feel like we’ve seen his ceiling and I’ll expect another heartbreaking playoff loss if he’s retained. Add to that the Bills cap situation for next year and I wouldn’t be surprised to see the team regress. Too soon to say though before we see what moved they make.
  6. I didn’t see any of it. And I’d say it’s quite different from a player on the opposing team, that was on the field when Hamlin almost died, very publicly taking a jab at Hamlin on Twitter. I don’t like KC fans though. For the most part they seem to be jerks.
  7. They can back it up, eh? 😂 personally, I like athletes that are more humble. I want them to be confident, don’t get me wrong. I want them to feel like they can beat anyone. But let your play on the field do the talking. To trash the bills after kicking their ass? What’s the point besides to rub salt in the wound? For me that type of thing turns me off. I don’t even like it when our players do it. Show some class. and taking shots at Hamlin on Twitter is completely over the line.
  8. KC can’t protect Mahomes right now and he can’t move in the pocket or escape. The chiefs are in trouble here. Cincy has the momentum. KC making all sorts of mistakes. As much as I hate KC I’ve also been very turned off by how obnoxious Cincy has been. I was planning to root for them to go all the way but I just haven’t liked how they’ve acted since the Bills game. Eli Apple taking jabs at Hamlin on Twitter. Burrow, Mixon and other Cincy players talking trash about the Bills after their win. Cincy players acting super cocky before this game. Burrow wearing a shirt that said “sorry in advance” (for the win). Bengals players all saying it’s their destiny to win the super bowl. etc etc.
  9. Yeah that performance gave me flashbacks of Robin Lehner in the shootout. 😂 I knew as soon as it got to the shootout Buffalo was losing. UPL was getting caught out of position all night overplaying pucks. He still made some big saves for Buffalo but he just seemed a bit off his game last night. Buffalo played a good game overall though, and 7 out of 8 points on a tough road trip is huge.
  10. Hey, just FYI there is a trick to get Game Pass Ultimate for $5 a month for up to 3 years at a time (it’s not really a trick. Microsoft even advertises it. I’ve done it twice already! just recently did it again last month). You have to let your game pass totally expire. Then add Xbox live Gold to your account. I buy the 1 year for $59.99. You can stack up to 3 years of Gold if you want. Then go and buy a month of game pass ultimate. It will convert all of your remaining Xbox live gold subscription to game pass ultimate at a 1:1 rate. So you can get game pass ultimate for $60/yr. I currently have 3 years of GPU that I paid $180 total for.
  11. This team sure is a lot of fun to watch! They’ve definitely sucked me back in at this point. I’m starting to really love this new core of young players and the culture/mix seems infinitely better than the previous young core. I feel like this team actually has a bright future again.
  12. They just completely overwhelmed Winnipeg. It was awesome to see!
  13. McDermott has assembled most of the staff on offense, defense and special teams. A new coordinator might bring in an assistant or two but it’s McDermott’s staff. Look at when Daboll was hired. IIRC I think he brought in 1 coach, an assistant o line coach. Same with Dorsey. McDermott hired the new o line coach and offensive assistants (like Shula). I don’t think this firing tells us anything about Frazier.
  14. I’ll be happy if they can at least just stay in the race. Don’t 💩 the bed down the stretch when the pressure is on and I’ll consider it a good step forward. But obviously it would be awesome if they grabbed a wildcard spot!
  15. Watching San Francisco play makes me wish the Bills were that well coached. Every year they are a contender no matter who’s under center.
  16. I am ready for a d coordinator change. The defense always seems to be good on paper but I feel like they fail the eye test too often. Sick of the “play it safe” defense. I knew we we’re screwed days ago when a reporter asked Leslie Frazier something along the lines of “the bengals were moving the ball well on your defense. Are you going to change the way you defend them?” and Frazier said “no. We are just gonna keep doing what we do”. I was like 🤦‍♂️ Problem is I don’t see McDermott firing Frazier and I doubt he gets a head coaching job after teams watched him blow it 2 post seasons in a row.
  17. I hate how nervous I get for games, and for some reason it seems like the older I get the more nervous I find myself feeling before/during these games. You’d think I’d learn to get less nervous. But nope. lol I know it’s irrational too. It’s only a damn game.
  18. Even though I was rooting for Daboll and the giants, I didn’t expect them to win. But I was definitely hoping it would be a more competitive game than that! The eagles just had the NYG number this season. Ill be interested to see what the giants do this offseason. I’m curious if they follow the Buffalo model and truly start the rebuild next year after making the playoffs this year. Or if they try to retain guys like Barkley + Jones and add more pieces around them.
  19. I will sure be happy when Kelce retires! 😂
  20. https://www.theplayerstribune.com/posts/ryan-miller-nhl-buffalo-sabres-hockey-retirement player tribune article from Ryan Miller to Buffalo before his jersey retirement tonight.
  21. I would say Daboll or Shanahan. Daboll for all the reasons listed in the first post and Shanahan because he keeps losing starting QBs and offensive+defensive coordinators but his team just continues to roll. What he’s done with Brock Purdy (the last pick of this past draft) has been impressive.
  22. Gotta get a win on Ryan Miller night tonight!
  23. Personally, I am a bit surprised he’s already getting interviews for head coaching positions. I think they would be dumb to hire Ken Dorsey as a head coach right now. He’s still just learning how to be a good offensive coordinator ffs. I don’t think he’s anywhere near ready to be a head coach. (and I’m not just saying this because I hope to keep him or something) But I guess Carolina (and Dan Morgan) has familiarity with him, which seems to be of great importance to NFL teams. 🤷‍♂️
  24. The only thing that is clear from that video is that he put his hand up to his lips. Did he blow into his hand? Was he hitting a vape? The video cuts away too soon to tell. Don’t you agree? Also, even if we saw a vape cloud I think it would only tell us he was vaping. Not what he was vaping. You can definitely produce huge clouds of vape smoke from nicotine. I’ve been in a vape shop/lounge where guys filled half the store with a cloud of nicotine from a single inhale off a vape using one of those vapes with the big wide mouth pieces on them (can’t remember what they’re called).
