  1. Oh yeah, for sure. I posted that question before we knew he retired. When I asked that, I had thought he just quit on the team. I wasn’t sure how it worked if the Bills released him because of that. But that doesn’t appear to be an issue anymore since he announced his retirement on social media.
  2. Ok, and if we choose to listen to you, then what? What would it change? How would it make things any better for me as a fan? Does it change any decisions the Bills make? Does it change the way they play on the field? Can we hire or fire anyone? Do we have any say whatsoever in anything that happens with the Bills, or are we just along for the ride? Me personally, I’d rather choose to find positives. It makes it much easier for me to continue following this team. If I chose to look at every move the Bills make in the worst possible way, it would only make me miserable as a fan. Why would I want to make myself miserable? We have no control over any of this stuff. So I choose to go along for the ride, and I choose to find positives and reasons to support my team.
  3. Yeah, I figured you’d dismiss that article. It wasnt the the only report that credited McDermott with bringing Hyde to Buffalo. Even Hyde himself credited Sean McDermott as a big reason he came to buffalo. Also, Is it really that hard to believe that a coach (be it a head coach, coordinator etc) watches games on TV to scout teams and players? And is it also that hard to believe that McDermott kept his eyes on certain guys who stood out to him over the years, in case they ever became available? There is obviously a big difference between a casual fan watching a game on TV, and an NFL coach video scouting a game on TV. One actually has a say in what players the team he works for signs. Even as a coordinator in Carolina, I am sure McDermott had input on free agents, etc. So he had good reason to “tv scout”.

  5. I hadn’t heard about them getting another NLL team until today. I must have completely missed the announcement...

  7. How can you possibly say it was a mistake yet? What if Allen ends up better? Maybe we should wait and see what Josh does with more experience and better weapons around him? Mahomes has the best offense in the NFL to surround him. We also got Tre White, and were able to get Tremaine Edmunds because of that trade. What if all 3 end up being cornerstone pieces for the Bills? 2 games does not by any means = a great NFL career. It’s not like we’ve never seen QBs start out hot and then crash+burn before. Not saying that will happen. Just saying it’s WAY too soon to judge yet.
  8. How could you NOT lose respect for Davis? !@#$ing quitter. He’s lucky they’re in Buffalo, otherwise he’d be hitchhiking home... lol
  9. I wonder, do the Bills have any recourse to go after any money paid to Davis, being as he’s the one who quit?
  10. 2 games = entire NFL career = GOAT
  11. So... are we outraged yet about what McDermott said in his post game presser? How’s his body language? ?
  12. Much happier with the Bills 2nd half. They showed some life, and made some progress on offense and defense.
  13. I LOVE how Allen is already showing progress standing in the pocket and keeping his eyes downfield. over the course of a single game mind you.
  14. Come on Josh! Lets end it on a good note. Boom!!
  15. Way to step up in the pocket and keep your eyes down field Allen!
  16. All in all, it’s really not a bad start for Josh Allen. I haven’t seen that “deer in thr headlights” look that you see from many 1st year QBs. And ive seen improvements from him as the game has gone on, which is all you can ask of such an inexperience QB with zero weapons and a crappy o line. Allen has actually done better than I expected him to do under these circumstances. I am am just so glad that he doesn’t look like he’s drowning, which is a legitimate fear of mine with this offense around him.
  17. People need to stop with this Mahomes stuff. How can you even possibly compare the situation he’s in to the one Allen is in? Mahomes has the best offensive weapons in the NFL to surround him. He has a very good veteran team around him. Very good O line. He’s in his 2nd year in the NFL. Andy Reid has his system/program very well established at this point. Allen has none of this things. The situations are just not comparable.
  18. How is that not a touchback? I thought the guy who first touched the ball stepped in the end zone. Maybe I am misunderstanding or missing something here?
  19. I’m 50/50 on this challenge. At at first I thought it was a bad challenge. But that last replay they showed before commercial, it did look like the ball started to come out befor his elbow hit the ground.
