  1. Hate them all you want (and I HATE them), but the Patriots coaching is really in another level compared to much of the rest of the NFL. Ans come playoff time, they are another animal all together. Not many have as much playoff experience as they do.
  2. Said the same thing myself. Bills fans know this story all too well... lol.
  3. Damn. New England is just moving the ball at will. I sure hope KC’s offense can match New England’s.
  4. He’s fired 1 so far. McGeoghan left on his own.
  5. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/25450892/all-three-incidents-factor-suspension-former-kansas-city-chiefs-rb-kareem-hunt It looks like there were at least 3 separate incidents in what looks to be a short amount of time (and I’ve heard rumors of more, but who knows if the6 are true), and Kansas City had given him previous warnings about staying out of trouble before his release. It would definitely be a risk, IMO. But I don’t really know enough about any of the incidents to have a strong opinion on this subject (though I obviously don’t agree with laying hands on a woman, no matter what she said to provoke you (even if she did call him the n word multiple times (don’t know if that is true or not though)).
  6. Anyone else feel like the poker games are rigged at times? There are times when I play and just get crap hands over and over (sometimes I even get the same cards 2 hands in a row). It’ll seem to just keep dealing me low number cards.
  7. I have a hard time believing that McDermott is having a hard time attracting top candidates. If for no other reason than the Pegulas pay their coaches top dollar. It has been reported numerous times that they were/are paying assistant coaches the highest salaries in the NFL + NHL, in order to attract top talent. Seems like a silly assumption to make anyway. We have exactly zero information on who they interviewed or what their hiring process is/was.
  8. He’s having a rough game. 2 goals against tonight that you can put on him, at least partly.
  9. https://buffalonews.com/2019/01/18/buffalo-sabres-patrik-berglund-st-louis-blues-nhl-news/ Berglund addressed why he left the Sabres to his hometown paper. Here’s a couple quotes. More in the article - Reading the article, It sounds like this whole thing kind of stemmed from what the Blues did by quickly trading him after he was late submitting his no trade list, as Elliotte Friedman reported. Another article with more quotes - https://www.diebytheblade.com/2019/1/18/18188513/buffalo-sabres-patrik-berglund-tells-his-side-in-exclusive-interview-in-sweden
  10. As much as I love watching Pettersson play, I am glad the Sabres don’t have to face him tonight. Getting 2 points tonight really helps Buffalo’s playoff outlook heading into the 11 day all-star break. If Dahlin records a point tonight, he will hold the record for the longest point streak for an 18yr old defenseman in NHL history.
  11. https://hfboards.mandatory.com/forums/buffalo-sabres.18/ https://hfboards.mandatory.com/ Its a pretty good hockey forum. What I like most is that you can discuss hockey with people from around the world. Lots of posters from other countries.
  12. Blockbuster! seriously though, I wish Bailey well. I’ve been waiting for that kid to put it all together since his draft year (2013). It was pretty clear that his time in Buffalo was up. I really hope a fresh start does him some good. I think he needed it, TBH. As for Leier, I can’t say I know anything about him. Here’s his bio - https://www.nhl.com/player/taylor-leier-8476955 He looks to have somewhat similar stats to Bailey - https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/45615/taylor-leier
  13. Lol. Same thing happened to me. I stopped to check out the guy hanging from a noose and 3 painted up crazies ambushed me. Caught me totally off guard.
  14. Yeah that was pretty cool. Even Mark Giordano complimented Eichel for that play. He said it looked like he was going to go off on a line change and that it was a hell of a play by Eichel. He said something you just have to tip your hat to the other team/player. Eichel really needed that goal (even he said as much). Hopefully it gets him going again. He was racking up points at a career pace before that injury.
  15. If you’re coming down that hill where the blood trail is, the head is on the far right hand side nailed to a bridge support. I missed it my first time too. You get distracted by the body hanging and all the blood. I never thought to search the area more. I cruelly didn’t even know there was a head with a map until I found the 2nd one, which caused me to g9 back and look at thr first site I found.
  16. Yeah I think it was more dumb luck than anything that I stumbled across another site. Im tempted to just look up the next site but I don’t know if I want to spoil it. But I’m anxious to see how this little side quest ends now.
  17. Working on it now. Just came across the first location the other day. Found the 2nd yesterday.
  18. Boston lost to Philly (in regulation) tonight. Buffalo is now 3pts behind Montreal and Boston and only 2pts behind Pittsburgh for the final wildcard spot. We have a game in hand on Montreal and Pittsburgh has a game in hand on us. There is only a 4pt difference between the 2nd place team in the Atlantic (Toronto) and us, so the Sabres are still in this playoff race with the win tonight. https://www.nhl.com/standings/2018/wildcard
  19. Yess!! They desperately needed that win. Buffalo played a damn good game tonight against one of the best teams in the NHL. Happy to see Eichel get the game winner. I think that might be his first point since coming back from injury? He hasn’t looked quite right since coming back.
  20. I’m not so sure about that... lol. (Hunwick being better, I mean) WTF happened to Scandella though? He was a solid top 4 defenseman for buffalo last season, even spending quite a bit of time on the top pair. This year he has really struggled. He’s had some good games here and there but a lot more bad ones. I keep hoping that he will return to last years form. It would be a big boost to this team if he did. But I am starting to lose hope now.
  21. “Vacation” from the board, maybe? Whatever the reason, I hope all is well. I appreciate all of the info he shares with us. I rely on him, Yolo and others here for a lot of my sports news.
  22. He must have done a **** ton of drugs before that press conference the other day because it looks like they still haven’t worn off... Either that or he kept the party going into the next day. Dude is hard core! lol
  23. Good! On both accounts. As much as I don’t like it, I did kind of get why they gave Pilut a night off. I thought he was looking a bit overwhelmed at times in his own end, and it looked like other teams were noticing because they were putting heavy pressure on him in the d zone. And last time they gave him a night off it really seemed to do him good because he came back and had a great couple of games in a row. Plus you can’t keep Beaulieu scratched forever (You can say he shouldn’t even be on the team but IMO that’s not really on Housley. Botterill sets the roster). But i am very glad it was only a 1 game break for Pilut, and only 1 game in the lineup for Beaulieu (he was awful against Edmonton). I am also glad to see Ullmark getting the start. Hutton has had some bad luck lately, and seems to be fighting the puck a bit and Ullmark has been the better of the 2 recently. I’m glad housley isn’t forcing it with Hutton. This is a crucial 2 points against one of the best teams in the NHL. We need our best lineup in tonight.
  24. possible Foles reunion?
