I’d still like to see Darnold under another coach before you guys just throw him away. He showed so much promise early in his career but now he looks like a shell of his former self. No confidence. Constantly seeing ghosts. He needs an NFL caliber coach (which Gase is not, IMO). How Adam Gase still has a job as the jets head coach is beyond me. You have to ask if the jets are tanking at this point. The stuff Chris Johnson said about not wanting to screw up Darnold’s development by changing coaches is just laughable.

Well, hopefully today McDermott will get his first win against Belichick as head coach of the Bills. This was already going to be the most vulnerable patriots team they’ve faced. But now with No Edelman, no Gilmore, no N’keal Harry, no Dugger, down two TE’s.... I never consider any game an “easy” win (there’s no such thing for the Bills...lol), but this is a very winnable game. IMO they should win, but that doesn’t mean they will. I expect a tough, close, hard fought game and hopefully a Bills win. 🤞

Well, I think you’re forgetting one thing: we are the buffalo bills. There is no such thing as an easy game for this team (see jets game last week... 😂). This is my worry as well. Their strengths seem to match our weaknesses. They’re good at running the ball on offense, and stopping the pass on defense (though hopefully not as good without Gilmore). Our defense can’t stop the run and our offense can’t run the ball (but I’m hoping Feliciano changes that).

He still a restricted free agent when this contract expires too. Well done Kevyn Adams!

We will be keeping our thanksgiving dinner contained to those that live in our household. We’d love to do a big family dinner but we’ve decided to play it safe. My extended family (on one side) is having a big get together and invited us but we politely declined. It’s not worth the risk to us (we are higher risk for covid). They haven’t been being careful at all (and I’ll leave it at that so I don’t derail the thread...). We might do a short, smaller outdoor get together with a few close family members if the weather is agreeable.

I wasn’t worried about Ullmark being hurt by it. I was worried about the arbitrator siding with Ullmark.

I was wondering the same thing myself. Does anyone know if he did? Seems like it happens once every season. The defense sucks for a couple/few games, McD takes over play calling for a 1/2 and the defense gets their **** together again. Wondering if that’s what happened again.

Thought it was stupid to kick it on 2nd down after losing a few yards. Seahawks defense was gassed. They should have run another play.

I think just Olofsson left now and about $6.5M in cap space. Adams is doing pretty good, even if he is just kicking the can down the road another year. I actually like the flexibility it gives the Sabres to sign Hall.

Maybe it’s just my Buffalo sports fan PTSD but I had a bad feeling that today could be a loss. I certainly didn’t expect an easy win. When does this team EVER have an easy win? I’m still hoping they get their **** together and pull out a win though. On the bright side, if we lose at least it hurts the Jets run for Trevor Lawrence... 🤦‍♂️

I’m just glad it wasn’t a 2 year deal that walked Reinhart right to UFA. I was nervous about that happening. ——————————————————— Seems pretty unrealistic on the Sabres part. Ullmark’s ask is a bit high, but not as out of whack as the Sabres offer. I hope such a low ball offer doesn’t end up biting them in the ass in arbitration. I understand what they’re trying to accomplish but Sometimes when one ask is so unreasonable the arbitrator sides more with the reasonable ask/side (Ullmark in this case).

Well, let’s hope Knox gets well soon, and let’s hope the spread is contained. I guess we will see how well the Bills have been following protocols. I believe they have been. McDermott and Beane seem too smart not to be.

Not sure this is the smartest move for overall team morale/chemistry. Fitz was playing well and the offense was fighting it’s ass off for him. The defense was playing hard every snap too. They’ve been in every game. I could see if Fitz was struggling, but I feel like this move is hard to justify to the team if you want them to be,I’ve their goal is to try and win every game this season. I’ll be interested to see how they respond as a team.
