Sabres were higher on the list than I expected. I just immediately scrolled all the way to the bottom of the list 😂 then had to scroll back up to find them.

That’s what makes me think that there could be more going on behind the scenes w/skinner. We don’t know what is happening in practice and meetings that could be contributing to whatever the issue is. Thats why it’s so hard to judge stuff like this as fans, since we really only know a small fraction of what happens.

Skinner back in the doghouse already. He didn’t last long with Staal. Seems clear there’s some type of disconnect between him and Krueger.

That’s what I was wondering. Some on Twitter saying he’d be eligible to play quicker because he was on a team up until 4 days ago and is current on covid testing, but I have no idea if that’s true or not. He would be such a good, stabilizing presence for that franchise. I know he really wants another shot at a head coaching job. I wish him luck! Glad to see that he’s at least getting an HCing interview. He should be getting more IMO. The Bills have had a top tier defense almost every year since he became DC.

I was thrilled. He was the guy I wanted as soon as I saw his name on the interview list. I pounded the table for him. I’ve been a fan of his since 2013, when his Carolina defense really turned the corner (with a bunch of no name players) in the 2nd half of that season. I remember reading about him as an up&comer when he was in Philly and I followed his defenses in carolina (top 10 almost every year!). That 2015 Carolina defense was amazing! and I loved that guys were having so much fun.

bummer. I thought he played his role very well in Krueger’s system. I feel bad for Girgensons. He loves it in Buffalo and I know (from articles and interviews) that he was super excited for this season.
