As do I, Steeler O was just not a good fit for Trubs,(or anyone for that matter) but I like playing him so you can evaluate the rookies with an experienced pro QB.

Preseason is more about player evaluation then tune up IMO. I can understand considering Buffalos slow start in recent seasons why fans would want better preseason prep for the starters. I do believe however the Joe Brady O is a different beast that more embraces the mighty Buffalo. The Bills are going to run the football down our oppositions F ing throat from day one on. I billieve...

No, don't play the starters. Vanilla schemes and inexperienced players trying to have an early impact to earn the start is a recipe for disaster in a meaningless game IMO. The Bills O Practices against a very good McD D. Same can be said about the Bills D vs O. More care is taken not to injure a fellow teammate.

The use of Aerial surveillance Drones with AI monitoring in direct contact with ground forces may help speed up the process of identifying and properly tracking a would be assassin IMO. -
Attempted Assassination on President Trump (x2)
Figster replied to Beast's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If we can all just learn one thing about the assassination attempt last night. Even with the type of ads we run vs a political opponent. Hopefully it's to tone down all the rhetoric. Unfortunately some people can be convinced enough to take matters into their own hands. -
Perfect fit for the Josh Allen low trajectory, high velocity laser shots. Superstar in the makings...

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - A Roster for McDermott to Work With
Figster replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
I realize we have Josh Allen now, but when you say completely different position. How so? New Coaches at OC and DC and many new faces on the 2024 roster. Bills QB's also lost their number 1 target/WR traded away by Beane. More similarities then you think... -

When you have a QB like Josh Allen confidence just goes with the territory IMO. -
Is James Cook a Top-Five All Time Bills Running Back?
Figster replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks for the reply Shaw, Its no secret Joe Brady wants to run the football. More from the RB position and I'm assuming less with Josh Allen IMO. Play complementary football. Rest the D, control the clock. Makes McD a happy clapper. We watched this winning formula transform the Bills as Buffalo surged forward for a playoff birth last season. The Bills are fielding a different kind of animal on O this coming up season. New identity. Keon Coleman is a beast. James Cook / production is going to benefit from the change in philosophy/ OC in my humble opinion. I'm expecting a break out season. -

James Cook fits the Bill for Buffalo's current O/ Josh Allen IMO. Ask this question again after Buffalo wins its 1st championship... -

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Receivers are a Dime a Dozen
Figster replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane already addressed weapons around Allen with Kincaid, Cook and now Coleman. The strategy is to run the football more and throw to big, strong targets that can also run block well. Complimentary football baby, makes McD a happy clapper ; ) -
Comes across to me as an intelligent, X's and O's savvy, kind of guy. I get the impression Coleman will get to know the Brady play book and what Joe Brady is trying to accomplish fast. Quick study...

Question or topic of the day - a new idea for the board
Figster replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
My outside the box thinking might get me in trouble here, lol (never to that level) I did have a similar thread/ post suggestion awhile back for PPP. To many thumbs down gets thread/ post locked or deleted. To many post locked/deleted sends the poster on vacation. Something like that anyway... Might be best If we leave the elimination part to the mod/admin, Its why they get paid the big bucks. ; ) -
Question or topic of the day - a new idea for the board
Figster replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Question of the day by way of example may draw more actual responses from a wider range of posters then a well written thread IMO. My last thread a few weeks ago about changing the draft order format could have been a question of the day. Everyone responding while polite clearly didn't like the idea, but overall the thread went well. After watching the last NFL Draft, and I loved it. TBD patrons know best... -
Question or topic of the day - a new idea for the board

Entertainment purposes. The hot topics could have as little as 3 posters in deep discussion to keep them current. I'm not sure its a good example of the board as a whole when many TBD patrons do more reading then posting. -

Getting some of TBD's more football knowledgeable posters involved like @Rochesterfan by way of example would be ideal.
