  1. What good is talent without structure, good scheming and coaching. What good is talent when your a me guy that does not put yhe betterment of the team 1st. What good is talent without the brains to go with it. Funny think about talent is its normally synonymous with accomplishent from a team perspective. Win a Championship and the team becomes more talented across the board. Browns were used by way of example earlier which on paper have a boatload of talent. No accomplishments. The Buffalo Bills have assembled a group of men that are smart, talented, team oriented, and well coached. The essentiial ingredients of a Championship caliber football team IMO.
  2. I agree on McDermotts ability to get the most out of his players. I think the players love them some McD and love playing for him IMO. Myself personally, I would like to see McD have more involvement with the D. The addition of Diggs and Allen taking the next step puts us light years ahead of last season on O IMO. If Daboll can get the run game going which I feel confident that he can the Buffalo Bills will be very hard to stop IMO.
  3. Thanks for the overall thread reply. I also don't feel like the sky is falling. I feel like Buffalo has just measured itself up with two of the best teams in the NFL. We didn't measure up as well as most of us would have hoped. On the other hand I never had the feeling winning the games were that much out of reach IMO. Both games presented problems by way of preparation and distractions. A healthy Matt Milano is Buffalo's MVP on D in my humble opinion. I think its very possible one or both games have different outcomes with the high motoring Milano giving it everything he has on every play. I think he lifts the team and sets a good example for his teamates that is sorely missed without him IMO. So while I may agree with you on the year of 2021 being the year of the mighty Buffalo. I still think we have allot of time to improve in the process before this season is over IMO.
  4. Difference is LB48 Shaw doesn't get payed to share his observations and point of view. From the Bills side of it what are we going to say about the KC game that was spectacularly different? The clinic Andy Reid showed us running the football down our throat? No The Titans did it last week...
  5. Every performance will always be broken down play by play and scrutinized. I don't think you will find very many Bills fans actually trashing Josh Allen who is ranked in the top 5 in the NFL in almost every major category.
  6. From a passing perspective Allen is ranked 4th in the NFL in yardage 1,711 and 16 TD's Mahomes ranked 5th with 1,699 and 15 TD's Tannehill ranked 19th with 1,368 and 13 TD's Allens weapons relative to the Chiefs and Titans are more productive and scoring more points in the passing game.
  7. Now its upper end talent as in elite. O.K. Something many teams don't have more then one or to of IMO. I feel like Tre White is real close. Allen is elite IMO. Diggs, same thing, borderline or elite. Gabe Davis is coming on real strong for a rookie. They may not be elite, but Smoke and Cole Beasley are really good. Edmunds is really good and still very young at his position. Matt Malino is really good. Sure, we could use more elite talent, who doesn't? ( Besides KC) When you try to build and find it through the draft it takes time. To get an elite WR Buffalo had to give up a pick in the round elite players are drafted. Allen is elite and drafted in the 1st. How many elite players is the Beane regime supposed to have in such a short time?
  8. For me, the Josh Allen pick alone has already achieved something no other GM in Buffalo has accomplished in decades. Draft a franchise QB.
  9. Not many players drafted turn into a superstar right out of the gate. I think when you hit on one or two a draft you did a good job. Gabe Davis is Beanes big hit on our last draft. Considering the maneuvering Beane did to land Allen and secure Diggs I'm very happy with our Bills GM. Buffalo is looking to draft smart, high character players and I appreciate the thought effort they've put into every draft choice. We have a difference of opinion when it comes to the amount of good talent drafted by Beane.
  10. The win would feel hard earned IMO. Making plays at crunch time is part of who Josh Allen is IMO. The forced fumbles are no fluke. Players on D stepping up at crunch time and making plays like their fearless leader IMO. The forced fumble on Kelce was no fluke. The kind of plays I'm sure McD thought our D would make. All part of the game plan. I didn't happen although it almost did. Arguably Buffalo's worse game of the season and an inch and split second away from defeating the defending Champion Chiefs.
  11. The Buffalo Bills have plenty of talent IMO.
  12. "The Bills must adapt on the fly" I think says it all OP Another one of more football savy patrons made the observation Buffalo lacked size and physicality at the point of attack. Buffalo had become more of a speed , high motor , finesse team and If the play calling didn't match the personnel on the field the end result is what we are seeing. I think he is spot on. This worries me because of the outdoor playing conditions Buffalo faces. So I'm not sure how you fix the problem without some changes in player personnel on the football field. On a side note I'm becoming more and more convinced Matt Milano is the Buffalo Bills MVP on D.
  13. Another thing about Allen that sets him apart from other QB's when it comes to completion percentage and something the old timer should understand. Josh Allen drives the football down the field. Not allot of this dink and dunk that pads the stats. Down the field. Just like Big Ben and the Steelers 3rd and forever is never enough to stop them. Let them say what they want. The Buffalo Bills have a superstar in the making and the day will come Allen and Mahomes meet again.
  14. Awww man do we miss a healthy Milano...
  15. I'm not letting the last 2 games change my high expectations for the Buffalo Bills this season. I think we can all agree KC has a great football team. A great football team that got beat recently by the Raiders. I seriously doubt their high expectations changed. Titans are just continuing on from where the left off last season smash mouthing there way through the league. 2 of the hardest games on the revolving schedule. Well you might play the Titans on Monday, If not KC might be a go on Thursday. On second thought you play the Titans on Tuesday ( maybe) Good grief... Allen needed this kind of adversity now and the Buffalo Bills needed this now because in the playoffs its win or go home. 10 games remaining in the regular season leaves plenty of time to make improvements in the process IMO.
  16. I think this is a very important observation. Getting blown off the line of scrimmage regardless of whats behind it is not going to end well when you have a back like Derrick Henry coming at you with a full head of steam. Locomotive breath...
  17. Actually I feel like just the one forced fumble that was reversed and take away the stupid sidelines BS on two plays it might have been enough IMO. So when it comes right down to it the Buffalo Bills almost beat KC in its worst game of the season. Myself personally, regardless of what Terry Bradshaw and Troy Aikman have to say I'm not worried about Josh Allen and the O provided the Oline continues to do its job in pass protection. Bradshaw can kiss my you know what...
  18. I'm ok with the game plan going into the game on the Defensive side of the football. Making halftime adjustments and the proper adjustments on the fly I think is a major part of the scheming/ coaching equation that needs to be rectified IMO. Something I think Gu was kind enough to bring to the boards attention recently on the Bills 3rd quarter woes this season. I suppose one of the problems today as far as halftime adjustments is the strategy appeared to be working on the scoreboard. Ugly game. On the bright side I think If Buffalo is able to get the D back on track I really don't believe we showed the Titans or KC what the Bills are really capable of in my humble opinion. We have seen this kind of meltdown before on D and McD has always managed to right the ship. I'm not sure McD and Frazier are on the same page right now. If all goes well hopefully we will get another crack at these guys post season IMO.
  19. Do you think Frazier may have gotten himself into the hot seat here a little coach?
  20. On a side note Josh Allen runs out of bounds and gets help from a chiefs player to avoid getting injured. On the other end of the spectrum Poyers, dirty, selfish out of bounds penalty may have cost Buffalo the game for all we know. Where is this kind of boneheaded play coming from?
  21. Andy Reid did what every team in the league tries to do to his football team. Control the clock with a good run game and keep the other teams O off the field. My hats off to the Chiefs HC...
  22. Whats crazy is a split second earlier on the almost forced football and I felt like the tide was turning.
  23. I'm also not worried about Allen. Hearing Aikman and then Terry Bradshaws comments at halftme was infuriating. Clearly the weather played a part, but by all means lets judge Josh Allen long term on one game and remind everyone how you can never fix accuracy problems. What a douche bag... Thanks Virgil
  24. Get smashed in the mouth over and over again with no answer deserved the slow methodical beat down we got IMO..
  25. The D was an embarrassment and for the 2nd week in a row Josh Allen performed poorly IMO.
