I see nothing gained by risking starters in a next to meaningless game. Beasley was injured in garbage time. I also see nothing gained by allowing a spoiler team ( Browns) into the playoffs over Fitzy and the Fish. Let the bearded one get his last crack at the playoffs. Tua won't last a quarter... One last thing, getting some game time for a few of the backups is not such a bad thing. Nothing says the depth of the Bills can't win football games. It would be interesting to find out.

Bad idea The reason I even brought it up is to help the owners like the Pegula's not gouge you guys. Along with the curiosity of what tickets might actually go for to see Josh Allen live at the Ralph in the playoffs. Something that hasn't happened in over 2 decades. 1,000, 5 or even $10,000? Point taken though fellas, Thanks

A Few Thoughts About the Patriots Game, in no particular order
Figster replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Shaw agrees with you Virgil, We get it, and you guys are doing an awesome job getting it to us. Its hard to find things to write about when the team seems to be doing everything right. The Bills are the talk of the football nation so where do you begin. Allen and Diggs are turning into household names and McD's D is turning up the heat. and the train it won't stop, no way to slow down... -
The fallacy of establishing the run
Figster replied to WIDE LEFT's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Question, do you see how balanced a team like the Titans are and how that balance of run and pass almost took them to the Superbowl? Smash mouth football gone from the game? I don't think so... Low IQ surrounding the game? Yep, sometimes -
The fallacy of establishing the run
Figster replied to WIDE LEFT's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You don't have to do something in high numbers for the opposition to respect it. When they do , it helps open up more possibilities. When teams don't respect the run it closes doors for others play in the playbook to work well. Good ball distribution is key and RB's are weapons that need to be utilized properly IMO. -
The fallacy of establishing the run

I find it amusing that Buffalo starts hitting on all cylinders simultaneously with getting the run game on track and find the premise of this thread to be way off base IMO. -
Belichick coached arguably the best QB in the history of the NFL for many years. B B has also battled the best QB's the league has to offer, and with the help of Brady, beat them. Often on the biggest stages. Its probably safe to say B B knows a good QB when he sees one. It would not surprise me If within the exchange which I also thought was unusual. It would not surprise me If some praise for Josh Allen may have occured. Pure speculation on my part.

Josh Allen Passer Rating Through The Year
Figster replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks OP On a side note from a completion percentage standpoint Josh Allen shows why degree of difficulty should be calculated into the overall grade on completions IMO. Dink and dunk gives a false representation of a QB's true accuracy and can be vvery misleading from a draft perspective IMO. -
Steelers officially playing backups vs Browns
Figster replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Generally speaking, teams not playing starters matched up with teams needing the win to make the playoffs gives an unfair advantage over teams facing normal circumstances IMO. Nothing you can do about it except win enough games so it doesn't happen to you. Crazy adding another wildcard and the league will still see playoff worthy teams in the AFC miss the playoffs. With that being said, If I'm McD I'm resting the starters or treating game 16 like a final preseason game. -
Week 16 Postgame Thread Bills @ Pats*
Figster replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cam Newton needs to work on his mechanics IMO. I don't think Cams done from a health standpoint and its not like he's had much of a supporting cast. Great HC ,sure, but from a player standpoint the Pats are not very good this season. -
Week 16 Postgame Thread Bills @ Pats*

Especially when the GOAT leaves town and sails on down the sunny Florida road and into the playoffs again. ( with Gronk ) Buffalo kicks his ass on home turf Clearly B B was quite saddened by the development... -
