  1. Talking with a close friend of my late Dad a couple weeks ago who lives out west. Nice fella, we share a same hobby treasure hunting/ metal detecting. Some of my best hunts, spent together with this guy. Good friend of mine also. (Always will be) Anyhow, I was caught off guard when the conversation turned political wich generally, we both stay away from. The comment was made blood was going to spill over this and the conversation went down hill with me from there. Blood is going to spill because of our Democracy at work , I asked before I politely ended the conversation. He was right. Left, Right, somewhere in the middle. How in Gods name did we get to this place.
  2. Justin Herbert with Tyrod Taylor as backup is a nice place to start though I'm afraid.
  3. I think Gaileys decision may have have had allot to do with how the Dolphins chose to handle the QB position this season IMO. Gailey loves him some Fitzy... ( loved me some Get Smart back in the day)
  4. I like Chan Gailey from an innovative standpoint and have often wondered how a Gailey Offense would perform when the misfits were replaced with elite play from the QB and WR positions. I also think Fitzpatrick may have a bright future coaching in the NFL. So while the likelihood of this happening If Daboll is hired as a HC elsewhere are probably slim to none. Promoting from within has never seemed to work well for Buffalo. Watching the Browns O operate under Alex Van Pelt makes me cringe at some of the alternatives. The thought of losing Daboll is very depressing...
  5. Happless brought up mechanical issues because of the hip surgery and unfortunately for Tua it helps explain why he is struggling on throws that used to be routine and come natural. It has me 2nd guessing my thoughts on the whole build around Tua strategy.
  6. So you don't think Gailey and Fitz would be a good replacement for a Dabooll departure?
  7. Why would tens of thousands of people who are struggling to pay rent, utilities, even putting food on the table want money. Do you think Biden chose to run with the failure to pass the $ 2000 stimulus as a way to get people out to vote by accident. Do you think Trumps warning to the Republicans that they would be dead in the water If they shot down the stimuls was by accident.
  8. Absolutely, this turned out to be the Republicans worst nightmare. Myself personally, I think this will help our Country unite and more bipartisan partnerships will prevail in the long run.
  9. Come out and vote and I'll make each of and every one of you $ 2, 000 richer. Ummmm OK
  10. Trump warned Republicans to support the $ 2,000 Stimulus or it would be even more costly and it was IMO. Gave Democrats the Senate on a silver platter...
  11. Josh Allen vs Tom Brady in the Superbowl has the makings of being the biggest game of the century. For once its nice to able to appreciate what Tom Brady has meant to the game without being the door mat by which he came. Beating Brady on the biggest stage is what dreams are made of in my humble opinion. ( @Alphadawg7 )
  12. Great example Gug, Eagles are another example with Nick Foles IMO. TEAM...
  13. From a safe and social distancing standpoint its impossible to tell whats really happening in the picture IMO. I think its very possible any owner of an establishment in Cleveland may offer Baker Mayfield a safe and isolated part of the building to wine and Dine IMO. Thanks OP, On a side note I'm always impressed with how TBD compares to other sports forums around the country. SDS does it best...
  14. My original comment was a compliment of Brandon Beane despite losing a fan favorite of mine (personally). Not yours, mine. I didn't say how good Watkins was or go on to say Sammy Watkins had just spent the off season getting on page with Tyrod Taylor. At the time to me it was a bone headed move and for that team and QB it was IMO. Its not my problem some people can't seem to handle Sammy Watkins name mentioned without tossing out insults...
  15. Sammy was Buffalo's number 1 when we traded him unless we had one hidden somewhere. Mahomes top target isn't even a WR...
  16. To me Houston would be a great landing spot for Daboll DC like Wade Phillips
  17. I don't think Daboll wants to face Allen or McD's D twice a year IMO. Its clearly not a recipe for success. Dabolls has arguably one of the best young QB's in the league to work with combined with McD's D and the expertise of Bills GM , Brandon Beane building the team around Allen. Its not going to be easy duplicating what McBeane has done, and finding another Josh Allen, Good luck with that , because your going to need it.
  18. Hey man, your ruining my day dream, I'm changing the station Locomotive breath, and the train it won't stop oh no way to slow down...
  19. This McBeane regime really gets it. Going from really pissing me off when Sammmy was traded to where we are now. Beane is my hero...
  20. Keep working it Beane man
  21. This is a really good point. One I haven't given much thought. It helps explain why Tua seems a little off on throws that used to come naturally. Interesting...
  22. I remember when Gailey faced the same problem in Buffalo with a Trenative QB and why keeping Fitz another season makes sense IMO. The old bearded gunslinger will show young grasshopper the way. ( or way out )
  23. No I get it, and I agree with you on being gunshy People probably wonder why I like Matt Barkley so much despite an average at best throwing arm. Good command of the O and not afraid to make any throw. Like Fitzy, Barkleys giving his guys a chance to make plays. Its the only way you can play. Back on the subject of Tua, having seen him make throws with good anticipation and pin point accuracy. I don't think the game has slowed down enough for him yet IMO. Time will tell...
